We really enjoyed the privacy and very tropical ocean/beach view and access. Huge pool. Big lanai ( porch). Lots of fans help make up for no A/C But we were not expecting a/c as it is not common in older Hawaii homes. Nice cool breezes at night. Over all good Time. Thanks Greg Vine

Location, location, location! This house is perfectly located to so much in Kona and great for a small family. The only reason for my 3 star rating is related to pest control. There were so many ants in the house that it was very frustrating. We constantly wiped down the kitchen counters and kept all open food in the refrigerator. However, this didn’t help. There were ants in the cabinets and on the kitchen counters. We found ants in the bed in the master bedroom and all over our toothbrushes. We asked for an exterminator to come out and were told that the homeowner said no since they had it professionally treated in the last month. We personally purchased ant traps and spray to mitigate the issue. The last morning, the ants were in my wife’s coffee as she was getting ready. If there was better insect control, this house would absolutely be a 5 star review!

This place is great. We had a wonderful stay. The only small drawback is that there is no air conditioning. However, this not unusual for the island and there are plenty of fans. Besides, who needs AC when you have a pool! Hosts were very communicative, professional, and kind. I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved staying at this house! It was the perfect location for our trip. Very good price for the location. The pool was amazing and the included floaties were a nice touch. Tons of towels so we didn’t have to worry about drying off after a swim or shower. Right on the ocean so we could wake up and sit on the lanai and watch whales. Great view of the ocean and island. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you could need in the kitchen to cook. Would definitely book again!
