Villa Piemonte is located on the main street of Masserano. Within 200 meters walking you find: 2 bars open all week from 07:00 till 23:00, a bakery, a mini market with fresh fruit and vegetables, a hairdresser and the restaurant 'Locanda Gallo Storto' serving the best risotto for lunch and dinner.
U2 is the closest real big supermarket, still in Masserano but 5km away.
Cossato is 10 min by car, here you find everything else you need: Hyper market Esselunga, italian asian fastfood restaurants, bars, car repairshops etc.
Biella is at 20 min by car, this is a very beautiful historic and cultural city. Definitely worth visiting for a day.
Other cool cities: Ivrea 40 min, Turino 65 min, Milano 75 min. Malpensa Airport is at 55 min drive.
Masserano is located in the pre-alps. This is a landscape of 200m to 600m high hills. Slowly these hill transform into the Alps going more north. From Masserano you can easily spot the mountains of up to 3000 meters. When hiking the hills, go for any walk starting from Masserano. Many trails go through the town.
If you want to hike upto 2400m, Monastery Oropa (+1100m) is a good spot to start from.

Having a car is the easiest way to get around in the area. At Malpensa airport it is very easy to rent a car. Via Kiwi or another booking platform you can often find cars for as less as €4 to €22 per day, depending on the season.
There is a bus passing through Masserano around 3 times a day. It goes to Cossato or Gattinara where you can take a train or bus.
Biella San Paolo is the bigger train station where trains to Novara, Ivrea and Turin Depart.
