Luxury bedroom in Docklands tower with private bathroom. Located on the top floors of a Yarra's Edge tower, walking distance to the rest of Docklands, city centre, South Wharf (including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre) and Southbank. Also walking distance to Marvel stadium and Southern Cross Station. The free trams on routes 11, 35, 48, 70 and 75 are a short walk away. We have two cats.....cat lovers rejoice. The important details: ★ Plush King bed with mattress topper and hotel linens ★ 48 inch tv with Netflix and Stan ★ High speed wifi ★ Iron & Ironing board in room ★ Kettle & tea / coffee making in room ★ Air Conditioned and heated ★ Room views over Port Melbourne & the Bay ★ Luxury Private bathroom with all towelling and toiletries supplied (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper) ★ Washing machine and dryer available (free) ★ Unfortunately there is no kitchen access, but please feel free to use the microwave for heating food. ★ Come and go as you please. We live in a secure building and you will have your own fob for access. ★ Sorry, but no visitors ★ Check in time from 2pm to 8pm (or other times by prior arrangement). Please provide a 1 hour window within the check-in times and we will make sure we are available to meet you. ★ If you're arriving early, you are welcome to drop your bags off at our apartment and return when the room is ready. ★ Air conditioning and heating is centrally controlled throughout the apartment. We generally don't heat the bedrooms during winter but you will have a column fan heater in your room so you can set your desired temperature. During hot summer nights we leave the air-conditioning on to set the temperature to approx. 20-22 degrees. We have two cats, Onslow and Daisy. Like their namesakes on 'Keeping up Appearances', Onslow loves to watch tv and have his belly rubbed whilst Daisy runs around trying to get attention. They are rescue cats who were found together when Daisy was only 4 months old and Onslow was 1 year old. They are totally bonded so will often be found curled up together sleeping. If cats are not your thing, this listing is probably not for you. If you have any questions, please ask.

We found the place beautiful and had a comfortable stay
Our stay was a definite highlight (high point) to a wonderful stay in Melbourne. Ken & Mark are the epitome of ‘Super Hosts’, most helpful with local recommendations. Onslow & Daisy were adorable!! Easy access to accomodations with immaculate living spaces and bathroom. Couldn’t have felt more at home and look forward to future bookings!!
Sehr stylische Wohnung und Zimmer,blitzsauber und gepflegt.Mark und Ken sind extrem unkompliziert und zuvorkommend.Die Aussicht aus allen Räumen macht sprachlos. Den besten Flatwhite in Melbourne hatten wir bei Mark und Ken. Die Lage der Wohnung ist hervorragend.Fußläufig sind bereits viele Restaurants und Attraktionen erreichbar.Aber auch Trams und Busse sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Airbnb buchen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Docklands is located in the free Tram zone. All trams in Docklands and the cbd are free. The apartment is walking distance to tram routes 11, 48, 35, 70 & 75. Route 35 is the free heritage city circle tram. Routes 48, 70 and 75 travel to the MCG and Tennis Centre.
Southern Cross Railway station is an 8-10 walk

Hello, we are Ken and Mark. We live in Melbourne Australia. Mark works in IT and Ken is a Chiropractor. We love to travel and in the past few years have been on trips to Europe, Middle East, US, Asia and South America. We love cruising because it's an easy way to see cities and places of the world without having to see the inside of an airport or lug a suitcase. In 2013 we did a Transatlantic cruise from Rome to Fort Lauderdale and another from Buenos Aires to Santiago Chile. Enjoying that so much we did another Transatlantic from Barcelona to Buenos Aires in 2018. When on land we like to stay at b&b's, homestays or private apartments. The knowledge of local hosts and quality of accommodation in great locations is what we look for. Local knowledge is invaluable. Our favourite cities and places include Rome, Berlin, Jordan (you have to go to Petra and Jarash), Bangkok, Cambodia (try the train trip from Bangkok to Cambodia), Barcelona, Peru (yes, another must is Machu Picchu as is the Titicaca train), Rio, La Paz and Santiago. Egypt also makes the list being a sensory overload of history and culture every minute of the day. Our bucket list includes the Galapagos Islands, a Baltic cruise and lots more of Europe. We also want to see more of the USA. Whilst we think we've done a lot of the US we've only just scratched the surface. Our bucket list includes driving the winnebago from West to East coast (with lots of zig zagging along the way). Ken is an avid cook and Mark an avid Collingwood (AFL) supporter. Don't hold that against him. We're long time Melbourne locals. Both born in Victoria we've lived Melbourne inner city, South, East and on the Mornington Peninsula. We've also lived in various cities around Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Mildura, Warnambool, Bright and Darwin) and have been lucky enough to experience life living overseas in New Zealand and the USA.
