A great house for big group gatherings with extremely accommodating hosts. Joy and Eamon helped resolve some issues with numbers of beds quickly and efficiently. Best to confirm with hosts long in advance exactly how many your party is so they can prepare accordingly. The house has been recently bought and partially renovated, but it suited our needs well. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious. Living room easily the highlight of the house, and though the kitchen is relatively small for the size of property, it's well equipped for catering. We managed to fit 16 in to dine - just about! Old houses like this will naturally have some period quirks and outmoded features, but generally we saw these as part of the charm. The place is not ultra modern but the cosy country feel was exactly what our group needed over NYE. Thanks again!

Booked last minute due to being let down on another property. The house is obviously old and could do with upgrading. Everywhere was clean, but there was a musty smell throughout, you do get used to it so wasn't horrendous, just think it's due to the age and in need of new furnishings. Plenty of glasses, plates etc in the kitchen. It's a big house so lots of room. Ideal for a large group that just want a fun time. Not for anyone wanting luxury, basic old bedrooms but comfy beds. No good for anyone with disabilities as there are just too many stairs. Overall a decent stay. Thanks
