Henri's place is really a wonderful spot on a coast where this can be difficult to find. Basics first: nice small pool, well-equipped kitchen, good bathrooms, comfortable beds, good laundry facilities - everything as promised and all sparklingly clean and in good working order. Check-in and -out were straightforward - we arrived a bit late after a long drive and this was handled perfectly. Henri was throughout responsive and helpful with messages. For guests with limited mobility or at risk of falls, this might not be the place (it's very steep), but for us the location is perfect: peaceful, quiet, and not overlooked, and with a mesmerising view of the coast and sea below. Our visit was short, and we spent most of it gazing at that view, and dipping in and out of the pool, but there are plenty of seaside activities close to hand, and shopping in Saint Tropez just twenty minutes away in the car. Really a perfect place. We can't wait to be back.

Henri is a gentleman and it was fantastic having my elderly parents with my wife and I for a week at his home in Ramatuelle. Perfectly located above L’Escalet Beach. Truly a five minute walk to the main beach or to the beaches and trails to Cap Tailat. And the view is simply incredible. You see the sunrise from your bedroom with doors open to the cool sea breezes, you can hear the waves lapping at night, and the pool is perfect for spending the hot hours of the midday sun. We grilled and cooked out of the kitchen everyday and truly enjoyed being able to see the ocean the entire time while doing it. The neighbourhood of Domaine l’Escalet is private and very beautiful as well. Truly a perfect place to experience some of the best coastline I have ever seen. And an authentic way to experience the Mediterranean.
