We had a great stay, the house is so confortable, the kids loved the playroom, jungle gym and pool. The views are fantastic! Scarborough is a Nice little village with Some great restaurants. Barbara is very attentive and quick with her response.

A truly amazing place! Even more beautiful views than the pictures, the house is also great, and the village is really nice with a pleasant surfer vibe. The Beach is also much better than expected, sometimes cold water but fantastic waves and definitely not crowded. We stayed here for about 10 days and both we and our kids loved it! A true gem!

The house is truly amazing, and Barbara is a wonderful hostess. The photos do the place justice and are very accurate! We enjoyed gorgeous sunset views from the living room 😱 The place is around an hour from Capetown, and close to some very nice beaches, which was exactly what we needed during our stay. There are some nice restaurantes nearby, and the people are lovely. It’s a fantastic place to stay! We recommend it fully!

Dear all, we enjoyed our stay in Barbara's house very much - the location is amazing, with full view over the Atlantic Ocean, nice naturalistic garden with BBQ and lots of Cape sugarbirds, cosy village with beautiful beach and nice restaurants, and just at the border of the national park, close to good surfing and swimming beaches etc. the house itself is very nice and communication has been easy and fast.

Barbara had everything prepared perfectly for us with clear instructions on how to enter and care for the house, and helpful tips on local activities and restaurants. She included an amazing manual on how to operate everything in the house from the TV to the alarm, and there is literally nothing she didn't think of. Most importantly, the house itself is absolutely beautiful and Scarborough is the perfect location for someone looking to take a true vacation but still have the options of visiting all of the amazing sights that Cape Town has to offer. We personally loved the drives through the mountains and over Chapman's Peak, and I would recommend the home to anyone. Thanks again to Barbara (and Teru!)
