Beach Access: Directly behind building! Just a quick walk down the steps behind complex and use cleared path across the dunes. No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 dogs only. Milepost: 7.0 Pet Rules • Dogs only - maximum of 2 dogs allowed. (We do not allow cats.) • Pet fees are NOT included in your original reservation price provided by Airbnb when booking. • A $25.00 pet fee - per pet/per night (plus taxes) will be added to your reservation Manually. We will contact you for your credit card information for this payment. • Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. • Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated or in the yard for extended periods of time. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. This condo is very spacious and comfortable. You have views of the ocean from almost every part of the unit. Watch the sun rise from your bed! The management agency is very responsive, friendly and pays attention to details, anticipating needs. Previous review stated that there is no shower in the master bath, but now there is, and it works well. Huge deck & small porch on 2nd bedroom. New appliances, and well stocked kitchen. Two flights of stairs, but dumb waiter will haul your gear up effortlessly. We would definitely stay here again.
Place was very dusty and very dirty. Toilets and floors were especially bad. Had to leave the unit as the mold smell in the master bedroom made us cough and have trouble breathing.
The place is spacious, has a fantastic balcony with an amazing view, and has a great location next to restaurants and stores. The only request is more household items. there were only 2 rolls toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, no salt and pepper in the kitchen, and hardly any toiletries (for a seven day stay).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kill Devil Hills. The home was clean, clutter-free, and well-equipped. We loved having ocean access that was private just to our complex. The view was wonderful from the porch which overlooks the ocean. Being able to bring our small dog was also a huge benefit to our experience. He loved being with us for the trip and it was so nice being at a beach that was responsibly dog-friendly. The rental management team couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with their professionalism and helpfulness. Coming at the tail end of some weather meant I had lots of questions prior to our arrival and they were very helpful with everything. I loved being able to text the team with questions or issues and have a local person respond so quickly. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We would love to come back.
Tremendous location and a nice condo. Well appointed with furniture, kitchen items, TVs in multiple areas, etc. The ability to walk straight out to the beach was fantastic. We enjoyed the condo itself but it was also nice to be able to spend the day on the beach but easily return to the condo for a break or to get more food, drinks, and so on without getting into a car. We paid extra for the dog to be there with us, also, and that was nice. The only thing that surprised me was the master bedroom had a large jacuzzi style tub which was nice, but no shower. There was a shower curtain hanging by the jacuzzi tub, so I didn't notice it at first. But after the first full day at the beach when the four of us wanted to shower before heading to dinner, we realized there was one shower in the shared bathroom. I'd still stay there again, but think it should be stated in the description that for a 3 bedroom condo, there's only one shower. Overall though, very good.
