Beautiful, fresh and clean inside. Comfortable sleeping for 4 people, 5 can squeeze. Access from parking lot is awkward as it requires getting in through 2nd floor porch. Stairs were icy and door was buried in snow, which was adventurous and interesting but not optimal in the winter storm. Firewood much appreciated although getting it upstairs on spiral stairs was a challenge. The resort maintenance hasn’t plowed the parking outside. Shoveled what I could and still barely got out with awd and snow tires. We got close to 2 feet of snow over 24 hours so maybe it is not every day, just keep in mind and be ready. All season tires would not work there, and chains wouldn’t be out of place. Anyway, it was a cozy space to be in, great location, and we would be happy to go again.

Beautiful remodel in a community tucked into the valley. Perfect for a weekend away! Would highly recommend!

House is great but needs some serious tweaking. Extremely unhappy about the surveillance camera aiming in the patio doors watching all the living areas, bathroom and bedroom. not cool. no blinds. Jacuzzi tub in basement was really nice, but in front of uncovered patio doors w an easy hand wave to the neighbors. The furniture was nice and stylish and make for great Airbnb pictures, kitchen was very functional. Beds were uncomfortable and w rough cheap summer linens and no extra blankets. Loved the fireplace and there's wood there for you, but bring your own matches. Warning - checkin and out involves driving roundtrip 30 minutes out of your way to pick up keys. Check out is by 10:00 but you first have to wash and dry all linens and towels and then drive far to drop off keys... so wake up early. House is really nicely curated for Airbnb pictures, but probably convenient only for the corporate rental agency.

Would absolutely stay here again!! The cabin was very clean, cozy and in a centralized location between Black waterfalls park and Canaan Valley.

If you’re thinking about it, do it. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful, everything worked as it should, and the water pressure is great. Read the check in instructions and fine print CAREFULLY and THOROUGHLY. There is an exterior camera pointed at the front door, but at night the camera can easily see into the kitchen. We simply covered it while we were there. There were no coffee filters or coffee, so we had to leave to find coffee the first morning. There is a really nice coffee pot, but coffee isn’t provided as of right now. I asked the host to change that, so fingers crossed. Also, take a lighter or matches if you plan to make a fire in the fireplace. We couldn’t find one the first night, so we went without. The cabin is located close to Blackwater Falls and the town of Davis, which has the cutest little shops. It’s less than an hour from Seneca Rocks, which was a great hike. Highly recommend this place. We’ll be back.
