New* Beautiful custom west coast cabin nestled in the rainforest. Short walk to both Cox Bay and Chesterman Beach. Open concept kitchen and living area with high ceilings, lots of natural light and stunning rainforest views out each window. Master bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with relaxing rain shower. Cozy reading nooks with a wonderful selection of local authors and field guides. A truly unique Tofino getaway, we’re excited to share this special space with you. Spacious open concept wood cabin with rustic charm. This unique cabin is truly a labour of love; our family hand split all the cedar shakes and milled the live edge wood for the kitchen island and cozy reading nooks (all from salvage). Features a bright, fully stocked kitchen and living area with large windows, exposed wood beams, a vapour fireplace (you can touch the flames) and heated concrete floors throughout. It feels like a gallery showcasing the work of the talented local carpenters and friends who helped make it all happen. Comfortably sleeps two at this time. Whether you’re here to surf, wander local beaches and forest trails, explore Pacific Rim National Park, experience wildlife or savour the sunsets, our cabin offers a lovely place to retreat to at the end of the day with friends, family and loved ones. We are grateful to live where we do, and in turn have tried to make thoughtful choices to minimize our impact on this special place. This newly built cabin was designed with energy efficiency in mind, and has received energy star certification. Other details include compost and recycling, an EV charger, minimal outdoor lighting for migratory birds, biodegradable and environmentally friendly cleaning and body care products and information on how to respect and protect local wildlife and this amazing natural environment. The cabin is located within the Haahuulthii (traditional territory) of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, at the heart of the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Region. This is a region cherished for the extraordinary natural and cultural environment that surrounds us and of which we are all a part of. Licensed with the District of Tofino

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have ever stayed at - genuinely a joy to spend time in, with so many thoughtful details. Extremely comfortable as well. Very easy to find, and a very central location for Tofino (a short drive into town, a few main beaches are easily walkable/driveable). Hosts were super helpful and responsive.

It was everything I'd hoped for. Yes, I knew we were coming to Tofino during the wet season. It was wet. We had the right rain gear and it was fine. Jen communicated from the beginning that it was wet. She had great suggestions for things to do, places to see, and places to eat. That being said, the fresh local seafood was a joy to cook in the fully equipped and spotless kitchen. I had to do a few work meetings while there, and the upstairs work loft was perfect. The internet was seamless. The cottage was easy to find, had good parking, and I had no concerns about safety. There was easy access to walking trails, beachcombing, and all sorts of adventures. Jen was immediately responsive to my questions about garbage, recycling and compost and I think I did ok! We had a spectacular adventure, and having a great place to stay capped it all off. And...he proposed. I said yes. This cottage in Tofino will live in my memories forever.

This is a special place. It feels cozy and comfortable. Aesthetically soothing. Jen was very responsive and proactive. You can walk to the beach, which is on the other side of the main road. We cooked all our meals, and the kitchen is stocked with the basics. Adequate for what we needed. Would highly recommend.

Jen’s place was just as described. Private yet close enough to area beaches and restaurants. We both walked and drove during our 3 night stay. The local trail was perfect for a morning run and Tofitian Coffee fueled us each morning. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was beautifully stocked. We used the bbq one evening and it was perfect for local salmon. Tofino and its beaches were awesome! Thanks for a great stay.

Tucked in the rainforest, a short walk to either Chesterman Beach or Cox Bay - both are great for surfing and beach walks. We are located at the entrance to Tofino close to the open ocean beaches. During winter storms, you can hear the waves from the cabin!
“Outside Break” market is a 10 min bike (or 5 minute drive away) and has a funky well-stocked little grocery store, coffee shop, delicious ice cream and take out, bike rentals and a surf shop! The town of Tofino with restaurants, shops, Summer Market and other amenities is a 10 minute drive.

Leave your car at the cabin and walk or bike to the local beaches within minutes. The Tofino multi-use bike/walking path is right at the end of the driveway and goes all the way into town, or if you’re feeling adventurous out into Pacific Rim National Park!
Tofino transit runs a regular free shuttle during the summer months.
