What a beautiful cottage, a real hidden gem! Jane was so helpful throughout our entire stay, even phoned us to make sure everything was as it should be. From a personalised letter with all the helpful information about the cottage, the local village amenities and surrounding areas to the milk, biscuits and wine left for us, nothing was too much trouble. My two children aged 6&4 loved the games and Mr Men books, as well as the grand piano and dvd’s. The dogs loved lying on the cushion in front of the log fire after a long day exploring! It was a perfect few days in this home away from home, we can’t wait to go back to keep exploring the area!

What a fabulous cottage - comfy beds and sofas, well equipped kitchen, smart TV and a downstairs loo!! Jane left us a lovely welcome package and a personalised message too, she also contacted us in the evening to make sure everything was ok. Would love to go back to this cottage.

I can not recommend this place enough! Jane was incredibly helpful from the second I booked and continued to be so friendly and helpful throughout the booking and stay. Jane was so thoughtful and made everything easy for us. The place as absolutely spotless and kitted out with everything we needed. It was a true home from home. There is a true homely feel which instantly made us feel relaxed and at home. It has a wonderful open fire which we took advantage of, as one of our days was sooo wet. This is located close to so many wonderful places and excellent for walking and exploring. It was just wonderful. I could keep going for days about how much we loved this place. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Jane!

We had a great stay at Blackbird Barn. It's a lovely cosy place to stay with everything you need and Jane is a fantastic host. Great place to stay with a dog as lots of village walks just outside the door and then a short drive to Lulworth and Durdle Door for beautiful coastal walks, then get back to an open fire, lovely! Great village shop and good pubs around. It was the perfect break and just what we needed. Would highly recommend it and hope to stay again sometime. Thank you Jane.
