Perfect place for my family to stay for a weekend. Even though the weather did not cooperate like we had hoped there was a lot to do inside the house with all of the assorted games in the basement. The kids were kept entertained and the adults had a fun and relaxing weekend. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an enjoyable weekend and Old Forge. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Moose River Manor was awesome. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the moose river. We enjoyed walking/running the quiet roads in the area. The trail head to the lock/dam is just across the bridge and I would highly recommend this walk, very easy, flat, and kid friendly. Bring your poles as there are plenty of places to drown a worm in the area. We made a lot of new friends while there, the deer are everywhere! The house has every amenity you will need and won't find on the listing. Plenty of room for teenagers to isolate themselves if needed. Great seating areas outside and a fire pit as well. We brought our boat and launched it up in Inlet at the public boat launch, much easier and better than trying to launch in Old Forge. Overall a great experience and an absolutely beautiful place to stay!

House was perfect for a family weekend. Had lots to do and was kid friendly with all the activities in the basement. Close access to the kayak launch and bike trails. Listing could be a bit more detailed to explain all they had to offer but host was very responsive to all my questions. Would recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! We fell in love with this house. The game room downstairs was so fun! We learned to play shuffleboard and quickly became obsessed! The bar area was great and having a living room down there was great was well. The main floor was great as well, the kitchen was fully equipped, loved the open layout. Beds were comfortable. Appreciated the window fans, all rooms have shades which was great. There's not one bad thing to say about this place. The owner and rental manager were both very friendly and responded very fast. We felt right at home here and were very sad to leave. We would love to come back in the future. Thank you so much for renting this beautiful home to us, it was perfect!
