Great place, great host!
We absolutely loved our stay here! Was an amazing house with an amazing view!
The hummingbird chalet was a beautiful retreat for our family trip to koocanusa. The cabin was very well stocked and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. As there is no ac it did get quite warm especially upstairs. The only other thing to note is there is no lake access and quite far from the koocanusa marina, if that is what you’re looking for. Otherwise the cabin itself was a beautiful, quiet and peaceful stay. Jason and Heidi were also very responsive on all communications and replied to any questions or concerns within minutes! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
Had a great experience, just wish there was A/C as it was very hot in the house and hard to sleep. But other than that we had no complaints. They let us check in early which was great and answered all questions we had when we were there.
This beautiful lake home in lake kookanusu is amazing. The evenings were very peaceful on the balcony, as there is a ton of shade on the balcony. We pretty much spent all of our time outside. The cool breeze at night made it very nice sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful sites. We had multiple deer walking through the yard which was very nice to sit and watch with the hummingbirds were beautiful to enjoy. The kitchen was very well stocked, as well as the barbeque and all of the kitchen. utensils needed for cooking were perfect. There is a nearby public boat launch that is very nice to go and swim and there is also a nearby pub that was really fun to go visit and a river that is very close by to also go swimming at. It is a perfect safe gated community with a ton of nature and the neighbourhood is extra special. Would love to go back!
