Welcome to Villa Benè! A spacious, cosy and very bright flat. In a few minutes' walk you can reach the Gureè beach or enjoy the swimming pool and basketball court on the property, which are available free of charge from 10 am to 6 pm. Villa Benè is the perfect starting point for exploring the area, which is full of charming places such as the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso and the Borromean Islands. We will be happy to give you further advice. We look forward to seeing you! Villa Benè comfortably accommodates 6 persons. The flat, measuring approximately 130 square metres, is located on the first floor and features: ・2 double bedrooms, with Queen Size beds 160x200 cm, desks and large wardrobes for storing belongings. ・1 room with 2 single beds, 80 x 190 cm, with a coat rack and a full-length mirror. → All three rooms are completely new, equipped with ceiling fans with light, to ensure a good night's rest even on hot summer days. ・2 bathrooms, with bathtub in one and shower in the other. → Dispensers with shower gel, hairdryer and towels are provided to guests free of charge. ・A large living room with Smart TV 40 " with satellite channels and Netflix, a comfortable corner sofa and a desk for working remotely. ・A kitchen, equipped with everything you need to make sure you don't miss anything (fridge, freezer, oven, kettle, American coffee machine, microwave). ・A large garden with a swimming pool and a basketball court, available free of charge to guests at certain times of the day, as they share it with the owners who live downstairs. → Opening hours: 10:00 - 18:00 → Swim caps compulsory for hygiene reasons. Thank you very much! ・The house is entirely surrounded by balconies, to enjoy the peace of the area and all windows are equipped with mosquito nets. ・Free parking inside the property (up to 3 cars). ・TO KNOW: Kobe and Gianna, two lovable little dogs, are used to being in the garden; they are docile and tame. You will meet them only if you want to use the pool and basketball court. We are sure you will love them too!

Soggiorno ottimo e piacevole. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, la casa disponeva di numerosi servizi e piccoli accorgimenti insoliti da trovare in queste occasioni come spugnette, detersivi, tovaglia, tovagliette, mollette, carta forno ecc. La pulizia della casa era perfetta ed era tutto tenuto benissimo dalle camere con ampi armadi, letti comodissimi, lenzuola asciugamani di ogni genere forniti gratuitamente, alla sala molto spaziosa e luminosa con ampio divano e smart tv. Cucina anch’essa ottima e ben fornita, unica nota l’assenza della lavastoviglie che alla lunga può fare comodo. Anche i 2 bagni perfetti con disponibilità sia della doccia che della vasca da bagno. Peccato non aver potuto usufruire, dato il periodo invernale, della piscina, giardino e campo da basket… un buon motivo per tornare 😃 . Infine il signor Alessandro, suo figlio Luca e la signora Daniela si sono dimostrati sempre cordiali e disponibili ad ogni nostra richiesta, anche per suggerimenti turistici.

We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in Alessandro and Maria's apartment, and already miss being there! We had such a good time, the house is beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It really felt like home during our stay. Alessandro and Maria were very friendly hosts, and we and the kids enjoyed chatting with them, and playing with the dogs! The pool was fantastic for a cooling swim. Daniela provided very useful information about our check in and stay. The surrounding area of Lago Maggiore is stunning, and Monvalle is conveniently situated for exploring around the lake. We visited Stresa by ferry from the St Caterina monastery under 10mins drive away. Laveno, with its famous (and hair raising!) bucket cable car, is about a 15min drive. The local beach is in easy walking distance of the house, with an excellent pizzeria/bar, where you can swim in the lake. There are nearby shops, bakeries, and supermarkets. We had a really amazing time. Grazie mille! We will be back!

Monvalle is a small municipality, surrounded by green hills and overlooking the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore.
Due to its strategic geographic position, it is perfect for visiting the countless beauties nearby, such as:
・the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso (4 km away);
・The Borromean Islands by boat trip;
・Monte Sasso del Ferro by cable car from Laveno Mombello, for an amazing view of Lake Maggiore and the Pre-Alps;
・Borromea Fortress of Angera;
・Stresa.
There is a small grocery shop, a bakery, an ice-cream /pastry shop and a chemistry in the village.
Supermarkets are a few kilometres away.
It is recommended to have a car in order to be able to visit the area at its best and to reach Villa Benè.
There is no railway station and even buses are only available at certain times.
For nature lovers, there is the possibility of exploring the countless hiking trails, as well as cycling to reach neighbouring areas.
Ferries depart daily from Laveno Mombello to discover the beauty of Lake Maggiore.
