Charming rustic traditional provencal farmhouse, with private pool, large private secluded garden/meadow just outside a small village. Five bedrooms sleep 8 (including a super king master bedroom) with 1 bathroom and 1 en suite shower room. Tiled floors help keep things cool in summer while downstairs log-burning stoves can create cosy evenings in spring and autumn. 5km drive to small local town with supermarket, butcher, greengrocer, weekly market, boulangeries, post office, dr etc. Relaxed, rustic and perfect for summer lounging outdoors. You'll feel right at home in our much-loved, well used and practically-styled holiday house. The ground floor is made up of three spacious interconnecting rooms (kitchen, living room and dining room) with a larder, WC and utility in addition at the rear. The kitchen has a free standing gas cooker with hob above, work surface space, magimix, blender and lots of pans and serving dishes etc as well as microwave, toaster and Krups espresso machine. The kitchen has open shelves for storage and a large Welsh dresser for storing crockery. There is a large fridge freezer in the larder and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. Upstairs the bedrooms have tiled floors, there is one family bathroom with bath and separate shower, and one en suite shower room to the master bedroom. There are no curtains, we use shutters to keep the light out. There are two single rooms, one twin, one small double and one super king size double. There is also one fixed cot and one travel cot. To the front of the house is a gravelled 'terrace' area with seating under a shady Lime tree and covered area, shed and old bread oven (can be used for pizzas) along with a bbq. The private pool is unfenced but has a pool sensor activated by magnets, the pool is set at a distance from the rear of the house. You need to activate the pool sensor on arrival. There are curved Roman steps, great for small children getting in and out of the pool. The pool is approx 11m x 5m. The outdoor pool is active from mid to late May until mid to late September, check with us if you need to know for sure what date it’ll open up or close for the season. There are around 2 acres of space around the house on all sides, some rough lawn area as well as meadows and orchards/trees including poplar, mulberry, lime, oak, elder and some fruit trees. The area around the pool and to the front of the house is kept shorter but the larger park area is quite wild and you may find mole hills. It is a very natural space which is full of butterflies and birds. It is not manicured and well tamed! There is ample space for parking and lots of space to explore and enjoy nature.
