Amazing! Paradise! Secluded! Modern! Unique! Super fantastic hosts! I can go on and this place couldn't have been more perfect for our family. The weather was hot at 80 degrees everyday and the home had a cool breeze throughout our stay. I don't know if the Gods were with us but mother nature was definitely on our side. Our family of four (kids 5 & 7) like to have a lot of space to do our own thing and enjoy privacy. We frequent Hawaii often so this trip to St. Martin was special it opened our eyes to other beautiful places to beach bum around, enjoy the sun, the people and the culture. We picked the French side to stay away from the hustle and bustle and it was perfect. The home had everything and kayaks were available for us to take to Pinel Island and enjoy the gorgeous beach and food at a whim. We probably wouldn't have done this without having it so readily available. The home is also next to the exclusive area of Anse Marcel which was also a very quiet beautiful bay. We went to Mullet bay a couple of times and the water was absolutely gorgeous, no sand, no seaweed. So, here are my tips: @the house - lots of activity & gear from kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, life vests for kids, balls, football for beach, racket games, floaties, loved the swan floatie in the water. - kitchen all the necessities for a cook. I cooked every night. - wifi was great in all living areas and between homes but if you are out in the deck by the pool, you may not have wifi. - the main living area (kitchen, tv, pool side) is connected with the master bedroom and ensuite. The other three rooms are on a separate building. My husband loved this because he could have his own space but if you have little children, you may want to stay in the connecting rooms which is an option. - baths were clean and master bathroom was fantastic. The family only wanted to use this one because it was so spacious. - bath towels, beach towels, swimming pool towels... - we have an breeze throughout the trip and it ran through the home so no need for any ac - rooms had ac so we used those during bedtime to avoid any mosquitos but those who don't care about this can have them open all night. - pool was ideal. we loved loved loved the pool. i want one now. Area Never having gone to the island and wanting privacy, this place was perfect. Walked short steps to the nearby donkeys and horses which you can feed. The beach on that side was experiencing lots of waves and currents but it was beautiful just to be there and girls loved running from the water. - there is a nearby recycling area so sometimes you can hear cars driving up & down...

This place is superb, everything you could possibly want. On the very edge of the bay, within striking distance of Pinel by kayak, peaceful, serene and beautiful, the position is perfect. The accommodation is beautifully designed, fully equipped, modern, spacious and the pool is generous and clean, a real bonus. The view and villa itself look even better in real life and are something that you need to experience!! The hosts Laurence and Francois are lovely, welcoming and massively accommodating and so kind. We did not rent a car and found it easy walking or taking a taxi to where we needed to go, Laurence and Francois even offered to help us out! Lovely range of restaurants and grocery shops close by which we walked to every day! St Martin is a beautiful friendly island and any visit will most definitely be one you will savour and always remember. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to be back soon!

Paradise! How to describe it in one word, Paradise! Going away as a family of five is never easy or relaxing but staying here was the perfect combination of all worlds with everyone having there own space yet being able to convene as a family when we wanted to. The large wrap around deck and courtyard area is perfect for teenagers with all the seating, bean bags and sofas, creating an arena for them to access their smart phones, read etc, yet be in the pool 10 seconds later. You could tell that this stunning villa has been perfectly designed and built by Laurence and François with family living in mind. The many doors created a cooling flow of breeze throughout the house which negated the need for air conditioning during the day, ever. The area is safe and we rarely locked the doors which added to the relaxed island feel. The pool is simply stunning with views of the bay as a backdrop. We commented that the reality was bigger and better than the photos reveal. The kids were rarely out of it. We would wake up early to read our books in the early morning on the deck overlooking over the bay and would often look up to check that we were in reality - So beautiful. We also loved the peace and quiet - you were not overlooked by the neighbours, yet with the shops and restaurants just up the road, it made it convenient to pop out to pick something up you may have forgotten or just out to dinner. We walked quite often at night time and it was reassuringly safe. Laurence and François are so welcoming! When we arrived there were some food, beers and champagne (real French stuff, of course) in the fridge, which was a classy touch after a long journey from the UK. They have everything here in their beautifully designed and styled house - towels for pool and bath, fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and Nespresso machine), laundry, a smart tv, several seating areas, outdoor bean bags, wifi is brilliant, snorkel gear, board games, BBQ, paddle boards and sea kayaks, stunning bathrooms, air conditioning and an amazing walk in wardrobe in the main bedroom( we want one at home now). As hosts, the family could not have made us more welcome. Their communication (in perfect English) was first rate and François would fix any little problem that we could ever encounter. Often we would be out and see a member of the family saying hi or offering us a lift somewhere. Any concerns we had about using Air BnB with them melted away in 5 seconds. They are a genuine and beautiful family which we were sad to say goodbye to. We almost wanted to keep this all a secret but that would have been a crime. We have already started to save to come again - Tu manques à nous St Martin...
