At the base of St. Olaf's Hill and just one mile from Carleton, with charming downtown Northfield in between, this single-story house is perfect for visitors to either college. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the spacious porch while gazing out at the large private yard (with fireflies in the summer!). Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. There are two steps up to the back door and four steps (and a railing) to the front door, so while the house isn't wheelchair-accessible, it's fairly easy to navigate for anyone with mobility challenges. Two of the bedrooms are on the main floor, as is the bathroom. The full kitchen is stocked with condiments, oil, spices, and tea. Fresh linens and towels are provided, along with basic bathroom essentials. We want you to feel like you are at your home-away-from-home! Please keep in mind that we live here with our dog when it's not being rented as an Airbnb, so while our cleaning protocol is very thorough, someone with dog allergies might be more comfortable elsewhere. We won't issue refunds based on allergies, but there are hypoallergenic Airbnb listings elsewhere in town.
