Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 15min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars, cafés and boutiques. Casa Sal e Vento, is a cozy accommodation between Tavira and Cabanas, equipped to have everything you need to focus on the important things - relaxing and enjoying your holiday. This charming house offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests with 3 double bedrooms. Guests can enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, cozy dining area and living room with an inbuild fireplace. Stepping outside to the private patio, equipped with a BBQ, outdoor dining set and sun loungers. From the upstairs terrace one can enjoy the 180degree sea view overlooking the Salt Flats, perfect for al fresco dining while taking in the stunning views and later in the day a magical sunset. Just a few minutes away you can enjoy several natural beaches, recognised worldwide for their water quality. The costal cycling/walking path passes right in front of the house and allows Guests to walk to either the nearest beach (Praia dos Tesos) or into the town of Tavira. Strolling along, you will find a magnificent variety of birds. Especially Flamingos are often searching for food in the low water of the Salt Flats. Nature at its purest! Golfers can benefit of three golf courses just a 5min drive from the house. Benamor, Quinta de Cima and Quinta da Ria - all three courses will surprise you with their natural beauty and their challenging features, which will make you want to return time and time again. Tavira, as your closest town, has a huge variety of amazing restaurants, bars, cafés and nice little boutiques to offer, all along the river side and within the small picturesque streets.

Die Unterkunft von Nina war zauberhaft. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Lage war ruhig und lädt zum entspannen ein. Die Kommunikation mit Nina war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei Fragen hat sie schnell geantwortet. Wir werden auf jeden fall wiederkommen. ☺️☀️
La maison de Nina est un havre de paix ,c'est une maison où il fait bon vivre, tout est pensé avec raffinement ,la décoration ,l' équipement ,nous n' avons manqué de rien ... La situation est idéale ,proche de la ville en vélo et proche de toutes les plages .... Il règne dans cette maison ,une atmosphère spéciale ,apaisante ,le petit jardin invite au repos ,et la terrasse à l étage a une vue dont on ne se lasse pas ..... Bref ,j'ai ADORÉ........
Nina is a great host - responds very quickly to everything and offers great suggestions about where to go and what to do. She was very helpful throughout our stay. The house is stylish, clean and quiet. You can walk to the nearest villages and it's right on the bike path - hiring a bike is easy. The neighbours are quiet and we had a good holiday.
Het was een heel leuk verblijf. Alles was helemaal naar wens. Wij hebben genoten van de 2 zonneterrasjes. Eentje boven om lekker te relaxen met een fris briesje als het te warm wordt en eentje beneden om heerlijk te ontbijten in half zon/schaduw. Nina is een hele lieve behulpzame toffe dame. Wij komen zeker terug!
Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Haus war super sauber und mit allem bestückt was man braucht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Sonnenliegen ein Traum und der Kamin für kältere Abendstunden ideal. Die Kommunikation mit Nina war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir haben uns darüber hinaus sehr über die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten gefreut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ☺️

Quinta das Salinas is a very quiet neighbourhood. All you can hear is birds song and the distant roar of the ocean.
There is a train track in front of the house which is no disturbance as the train is very short and only runs 12 times a day.
There is free parking outside the house, a bus station about 5 min walk away that runs between Faro and Villa Real de Santo Antonio. The cycle/walking path that goes all along the Algarve is right in front of the house.
