This loft is situated in The Spice Yard development, a mixed-use collective of creative businesses, entertainment venues, and loft apartments. Around the ground floor courtyard, you'll find a rum distillery with a café offering tastings, a beer taproom, an axe-throwing alley, and a tequila distillery. The café usually features croissants from Proof Bakery (freshly baked overnight). If you enjoy fine dining, The Happy Uncles, ranked as the 28th best restaurant in Cape Town in Dineplan’s 2023 ratings, is conveniently located on the lane as you enter.

The Spice Yard is in the Industrial area of Salt River so while we have a bustling vibe in our development and courtyard we recommend you drive or take Ubers to other locations as it isn’t safe to wander around in the Industrial Area.
