Have fun in this stylish unit at world class Kirkwood within short walking distance to the lifts. Comfortable queen bed, plenty of room for a solo traveler or crew of 2 after a day on the mountain. Included is a kitchenette, HD 55” Roku TV and high speed WIFI. The building has a communal lounge, bbq deck and hot tub (Hot tub is in use during winter). Alpine County STR #2023196 The set up is modern and minimal, with a lot of light. The bed is comfortable, made up with nice 100% cotton linens. There is a table with chairs, to eat or work. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, dish ware and utensils, as well as ample storage for food. You will find a large closet for storing your things, as well as a dresser if needed. Bathroom is off the main room and gives privacy. We provide a small coffee bar to enjoy, towel's, hand soaps and shower necessities. Alpine County STR #2023196

John’s spot is always great
Great location to the mountain but the walls are very thin and the neighbors made us uncomfortable. Also there is no indoor parking, so I would not recommend if there’s snow in the forecast.
The room is great for ski trips to Kirkwood - very convenient and very close to the lifts. It was exactly as in the photos. The small kitchenette was enough for us. We were a group of 3 and fit just fine, but it was nice to use the ample space in the lodge's common area to hang out. The property manager Jeanelle was very helpful, friendly and responsive to our questions. Be sure to follow the host's instructions for parking - when we picked up our parking pass, we got differing instructions from onsite staff.
John’s place was perfect for us. It was even better than the photos. We just wanted a place close to the slopes to rest our heads for the night after skiing. The place was very clean. Although there is no kitchen, the fridge, microwave, kettle, stocked bakers rack setup was enough for us to prepare simple meals and snacks. The mattress was super comfy. And, the TV was great for watching from our own streaming subscriptions. Thanks John for the great stay!

The Meadows is a quick walk to the main village and ski lifts 6 and 5. Timber creek is a bit further, but shuttles run all day and pick up right in front of the building. From the building you can access the meadow for x-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. During winter hours you are a short walk to the cornice grill restaraunt and bar for after skiing hours
The mountain hiking and biking right from the door is wonderful in summer time, and you may be stunned by Kirkwood's plethora of native wild flowers. There are also nearby alpine lakes, world class hiking trails, hot springs, rivers for fishing, camping and all that the beautiful high sierra has to offer.

The Meadows building at Kirkwood is the perfect setting for accessing the slopes during the day and having a restful evening at night. Easy walking access to both lift bases. Evening food and libations available at 7800 Club or Cornice Pizza.
