Nestled on 35 acres of undulating landscape surrounded by 200 acres of national forest. This 4 bedroom architecturally designed home can sleep up to 10 guests. Nestled in a secluded valley of the Byron Hinterland, Nest is private & quiet with walking tracks, sauna, hot tub, yoga space, fire pit, fruit orchard, veggie garden and an abundance of wildlife. Escape the hustle of life and enjoy the gifts of nature in this unique oasis to rest and restore with expanded family or your dearest friends. This modern timber home is perfectly orientated with epic views onto Mount Bugeram and the surround forests. There is a small lake and ample walk-in tracks and gardens to explore. Each room can be configured as a twin or king bed. The Living room and seat up to 10 guests at the table. There is a great word burning fire place in the living room for cool winter nights. There is a fully furnished kitchen to prepare all your meals. Bathrooms are modern with marble tiles. All floors are timber and great underfoot. There is covered decking around most of the house which is great for out door living during the heat of the day or during the rain.

This is just such a restful place to stay! The ultimate hinterland getaway, with all the luxury comforts yet surrounded by such expansive nature. We loved the birds in the morning and cedar hot tub under the stars at night. There was lots of room for expanded family gathering, yet it was still intimate and cosy. Highly recommend for people who need space and comfort. Ken is a wonderful host and his team really helped with local recommendations and arranged an amazing local massage therapist to visit us at the house in their private treatment room. It felt like our own private retreat. Will come again.
We had a fantastic stay at nest! The house was set up in a felt luxurious in every way the lounge and fire place so cosy. The kitchen perfectly laid out high end equipment a delight to create there. The bathrooms and room s much larger than pictures and comfortable. We loved walking around the land and the forest trails surrounding the pocket nature reserve. Some beautiful old native cedar trees holding such a presence. Felt like we could really unwind and rest. It was so peaceful and relaxing with stunning views over the valley … watching the sunsets a high light ! We had bikes for the family to ride to the cafe close by and a canoe to use in the lake dotted with blue lotus flowers ! The highlight was the spa area with the 10 person cedar hot tub and cedar sauna…. A perfect way to relax overlooking the lake and hearing the bush alive! An incredible stay perfect holiday we will be back for sure. The host extremely helpful above and beyond and catered to our needs!

The local area consists of quite rural farm land. Its beautifully lush and green. There's a Cafe and shop at the end of the road great for grabbing supplies. Just 7 minutes to Mullumbimby and 15-20 Min to the beach at New Brighton and Brunswick. There are several waterfalls and walks nearby including Goonengerry waterfalls and park, Unicorn falls and Crystal Castle.
Best to have a car for getting around. Ample parking on the premises to.
