Cabin has DVD player with grown library, TV with Satellite dish and WiFi for your comfort. Split system heating and cooling unit Along with a flat surface for a work station . With outside space patio furniture and BBQ . Available Mid May to Mid October ***Special cleaning/disinfecting between guests for COVID19 prevention, as advised by airbnb***Cabin includes apartment size fridge , microwave, new Propane BBQ with side burner (patio area with umbrella dinning table we ask your put the umbrella down when not in use), and everything in the kitchen to accommodate not having an stove (Toaster oven, kettle, induction plate, coffee pot drip style & single cup keurig & sandwich maker & George foreman grill ) Two piece Bathroom, Queen size Bed( new pillows and duvet )with its own sink and ceiling fan, in the bedroom. New split system heating and cooling unit in Cabin . Outdoor fires must be within the fire-ban rules as set out by the Ministry of Natural Resources. (Camp fire wood provided & Camp Chairs Plus all the smoore sticks needed) Nearby facilities include: RPM Marina on HWY 35 for renting large and small motorboats, hiking trails, golf courses, restaurants, bakeries. Inside the cabin is a Haliburton area folder which includes information on nearby attractions: Haliburton Wolf Centre (part of Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve), the thriving fine arts community of Haliburton (studios, galleries, gifts hops and workshops/courses), Dorset Lookout Tower and Museum, Robinson's General Store, SS Bigwin Cruises and Marine Museum, Hawk Lake Log Chute Historic Site, Sir Sam's Ski and Bike Trails, Sculpture Forest, Ski-Mazing Water Sports, Haliburton Skyline Park, Haliburton Highlands Museum, Abbey Gardens, Hike and Bike Trails. Our stay here was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone who wants a weekend getaway at a lake!
We had the most amazing stay at Yellow Door Cabin. Being right on the lake is so peaceful and beautiful, and we were gutted to miss out on going for a dip due to the weather! The cabin has everything you need and being only 1 hour from Algonquin and plenty other great tourist spots is ideal. Leslee is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome.

Very relaxing stay! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was mini, but there was a hot plate we used to make our Hello Fresh meals, and had all the appliances, including Keurig. Great little patio beside the cabin to eat and relax. I loved relaxing on the raised deck overlooking the lake, and took the kayak out to explore the lake a bit as well. Hosts Leslee and Brian were very lovely, and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!
We had a beautiful, quiet and restful time. The cottage was clean and full of items for every day use. The property is outstanding with lots of options and amazing scenery. The only thing that surprised us wise the tiny size of the bathroom and lack of storage space for dry goods in the kitchen. But this is a minor detail in comparison to all the positivity of our trip.
