Everything was great. The floor makes a lot of noise when you walk but besides that everything was as described. I would definitely stay here again.

Great and easy place to stay. Walls are a little thin but it’s not a deal breaker in any way. Shoreline was extremely responsive to a number of questions and requests before, during, and after check in. Thanks and I’ll keep this place in mind for my next trip into Norfolk

Shoreline was as advertised and good value for the cost. I was in the area to visit a relative in the hospital and it was exactly what I hoped for, a nice quiet place to stay with non-chain type places to eat nearby. I bought groceries and cooked breakfast and lunches but ate out locally on Colley Ave. The restaurants did not disappoint. I recommend Shoreline to anyone looking for the same.

Older building had zero noise reduction. You can hear absolutely everything in other apartments and outside of the building. Crowded street parking constantly upsetting neighbors. It is true that smoking/smells permeate all apartments. Marijuana was brought in somewhere and my whole apartment reeked. The shower handle was very hard to reach. It is blocked by the sink. Had to reach over the sink to get to it. There was only one nightstand in the master bedroom. It feels like it hasn’t had a great cleaning. Not dirty but some surfaces felt tacky. Coffee maker was very neglected in cleaning. We had to scrub old burnt coffee out of everywhere. Basket bottom was packed with old grounds. This place could be better. Needs attention to detail and better attention to cleaning. There’s nothing they can do about the noise. It is in a nice part of Norfolk. Walkable to restaurants and coffee shops.
