Amy is an excellent Airbnb host. We loved the location; walking to Samoa beach, quiet, and peaceful. Great launching pad for redwood forest and coastal hike excursions. We’d definitely try to book Amy’s Airbnb when visiting Humboldt county.

This historic town is a small community of less than 300 residents. Some of the houses are occupied by year-round residents, and others are being rehabbed for their future, new owners. It is quiet, and safe. There is a community center, and a park. Often, on the weekends you can see events going on at the community center. The famous Samoa Cookhouse is just down the road from the unit and is known to serve wonderful, family-friendly meals.
Just a few minutes from the house, you can find yourself at the beach through a walking tunnel. Easily peruse the town from the house, and take in the sweeping views of the Humboldt Bay.
