We loved this place! The architectural craft of Hinter Shelter is what caught our eye, the attention to detail, aesthetics, and visuals is what made us book it and fall in love. Truly a gem in the hills. The excitement of passing other beautiful homes on a windy snowy road on the way to Hinter Shelter for the first time was a great experience. Once we arrived we knew we picked one of the best places immediately. Inside the home, my wife and I loved hanging out by the wood stove, sipping wine, listening to music, and playing games. We also enjoyed the outdoor firepit and jacuzzi. So quiet and peaceful, you can literally hear a pen drop. Emily, our host was amazing! Before arriving Emily provided more than useful tips aout having a 4 wheel drive car, how to find the place and more. Emily also gave us wonderful recommendations of restaurants and things to do in the area. She was also very responsive to the many questions we had of the area. Emily made an amazing trip, more amazing!

We stayed here as a small group of 6 and the space was perfect for what we were looking for--a relaxing stay in a cabin near Mont-Tremblant. It's a 25 minute drive to the village but that was not an issue as we enjoyed the privacy. The layout is nice and it definitely feels bigger than just 1500 sf. The only issues to note was the hard well water and lack of blow dryer but neither affected our stay in a significant way. The bedding was awesome, better than some hotels I've stayed at. Overall, we loved the property and would definitely consider coming back!

A truly remarkable experience. The photos do not do the place justice. The home is immaculate and located up a mountain road. In the all glass lower level, you are surrounded by the nature in this warm comfortable home. What is most amazing is how advanced the home is - heated floors, a ventilation system, modern lighting, a hot tub, on and on. You are located at the end of a road, which offers privacy. The home also embraces its proximity to nature with an outdoor table, a balcony on the 2nd floor to kick back, and a fire pit in another area for apres ski relaxation. I have stayed in AirBNBs all over the world, including Paris, London, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, New Orleans, and LA, and this was easily the nicest home I have ever stayed in. Extraordinary. On top of the this, the communication with Emily was perfect, and the surprise gift was a really nice touch.
