Tucked away in the Carmarthenshire countryside, this delightful property is perfect for couples or small families looking to explore the area’s natural beauty. Occupying a peaceful position on the outskirts of the village of Llandybie to the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park, you’ll have a wealth of picturesque walking routes on your doorstep. Set within a 40-acre working farm, you can also immerse yourselves in the sights and sounds of rural life, and meet the resident emus, sheep, pigs, chickens and peacocks. In the evening, head outside to your private hot tub for a spot of stargazing. Charming throughout, this property’s contemporary country-cottage decor reflects its heritage whilst giving the modern visitor everything they need. Neutral colours add a sense of light and space, and wooden tones add warmth. Stepping into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, you can cook, relax and dine whilst spending quality time with loved ones. The family bathroom is also on the ground floor with a separate shower and bath. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious master suite with its vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, and a cosy twin room. When the sun’s shining, throw open the double doors downstairs and enjoy al fresco dining on the decking before soaking in the hot tub. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the location of this property, with the Brecon Beacons to explore to the east and Afan Forest Park approximately 30 miles south-east, both of which have miles of walking/cycling trails to explore. The area is also packed with historical sites, including Castell Carreg Cennen, only 4 miles away, and the National Trust’s Dinefwr Castle and Park on the outskirts of the market town, Llandeilo (6 miles). Venturing further afield, you can also explore the coastline from places like the town of Llanelli (16 miles) which has amenities to suit all ages.
