The property is quirky with a lot of character. The owners have made it very homely with personal touches. Good heating options for those cooler nights. Lovely raised deck amongst the trees with lots of bird life. t’s very well located in the heart of Brighton township and beach. Would recommend fir sure

This cottage was absolutely lovely. The outdoor deck area overlooking the river was tranquil. You could hear the birds, enjoy the scenery and feel very relaxed. The bedrooms were cosy. We chose to stay in the large new addition. It was very spacious with plenty of room to put our bits and pieces. We were so lucky to be able to bring our German Shepherd, Bella, and she was very comfy there as well. She was relaxed, alert, but not overstimulated at all. Everything was so peaceful. It was great to be able to cook there too. The oven was a bonus for us, as we cooked for my Saddle Hill family. Also there was plenty of plates and knives and forks, which wasn't the case at our last AirB&B. The location was perfect. We could walk down to the beach and enjoy the cafe and the dairy. We met Jacqueline and Kevin at separate times and they were very friendly and helpful, and did not intrude on our privacy. Thank you. From Gerry, Tony, and Bella.

I’m an ex-dunedin local, always loved the ocean view area. Jacqueline and Kevin’s was an excellent little batch, lovely views and most of all, quite! (apart from the beautiful native bird calls) Very clean, tidy, warm and very spacious for its size. I will return next time. Excellent accommodation and I highly recommend if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life! 🤙

Jacqueline’s Place is perfect for a little retreat. Very quiet, very private and comfortable! We rested here quite a lot, something about it that you sleep great!! They also have a good tv, with a good audio device that connects to the tv just by turning it on. Netflix and all the platforms available. They also have lots of lamps so if you want a cozy lighting is very easy to achieve. I totally recommend this place!
