A wood-clad EcoCabin nestled in the Shropshire hills area of outstanding beauty. Perfect for families, friends and couples looking for country explorations and quiet escapes. Situated on the Shropshire Way, a 10 minute walk into Bishop's Castle, a creative market town that hosts countless festivals, including the Real Ale Trail which celebrates the towns 6 pubs and 2 home breweries. The EcoCabin is the larger of two cabins situated on Foxholes Campsite. The Cabin comprises of one double bedroom, two bedrooms with bunk-beds sleeping a maximum of six. There is wet-room style shower room, with toilet, basin and shower. The living space is open planned will fully equipped kitchen/diner/lounge. The kitchen has fridge-freezer, sink and full sized gas hob/grill/oven. It comes with all the essential china, cutlery and cooking equipment. No food will be provided. The kitchen leads on to the dining table and lounge space, all of which look out across the valley towards the Long Mynd through a number of large windows. The EcoCabin has been designed to take full advantage of the spectacular views that surround it, with a veranda and outdoor dining area. There are plenty of space at the rear of the cabin for parking. The cabin is fully insulated with full central heating, making it the perfect get away through out the year! **PLEASE NOTE** Duvets and pillows are provided, you will however need to bring your own bed linen and towels.

What a great place for a countryside getaway! Thought I'd booked for four nights but turned out I'd only booked three. Luckily the cabin was available for the extra day and we got it booked without any issues. The cabin had everything we needed and felt really spacious. We were only 3 (me, husband and daughter) but entertained other members of my family who were camping on the site, so the extra space was perfect. We absolutely loved the location. Bishops Castle was great, and Ludlow only about half an hour away. With family around the country, it was a fab central location for a get together. We're already planning on next year's holiday here with even more family!
Lovely stay as usual, love this place, clean cosy, brilliant location and fabulous view
We love the Eco Lodge. It looks compact from outside, but there's plenty of space for a family. There's a lovely view of the hills from the dining table or lounge area. And it's just a short walk through the fields into Bishop's Castle.
We very much enjoyed our stay, great location with beautiful scenery and a great base for exploring the countryside with walks pretty much from the doorstep.
Nice and clean, kitchen was well equipped, beautiful views, quiet, warm and toasty.

Situated on Foxholes Campsite the cabin is next to its smaller counter-part the Datcha. It looks out onto uninterrupted views of the Shropshire countryside.
There is plenty of parking at the cabin.
I would recommend parking at the Auction Yard in Bishops Castle.
There is very limited public transport from Bishops Castle - Minsterley Motors provide a bus to Shrewsbury where you can catch the train. The nearest Train Station is at Craven Arms.
There is one taxi provider in Bishops Castle, this must be pre-booked. Alternative companies are available from Newtown and Craven Arms, again i would recommend pre-booking these.
Camalad Barns, wedding venue could be within walking distance, although this is a long a quick road - I would not recommend walking.
