amazing place to stay at in Mbarara, the room was big and clean, the complex was nice and cozy also for passing some time in the evening and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional

Our first room had one window faced to the kitchen, so we had to deal with a lot of smoke and noises during the day and especially at night. Washing dishes, talking, cooking, singing etc. For that reason we could not open our windows like we needed to because of the smoke,smell, noises etc. So our first night was very very bad and warm. For the second night we changed rooms which worked out great. We could easily open the windows at night to get fresh cold air. Moreover the WiFi didn’t work either. The location is very good. You can walk easily to the central market. For the price it’s a good value.

Overall a memorable stay - the town of Mbarara is somewhat unusual to visit for tourists and this seems to be the nicest place to touch down to. It's located in the very heart of the city, right across the Bus Terminal, Central Market, ATMs and is yet quite calm. My room has been small but sufficient, clean, secure, equipped with a comfortable bet and moquito net. The bar and garden are nice places to hang out and meet fellow travellers. However, there were a few downers: The hotel is almost impossible to find if arriving at nighttime since gates are closed and there is no sign on the street, no doorbell or anything that would indicate where to go to. Location on Googl* is correct though. Wifi wasn't working during my stay and I had to buy an extra Data Package to get online. Water pressure was so low it took forever to wash or even have a "shower". Anyways: The staff was fantastic and helped get over those cues, showed my around town and cooked delicious Ugandan meals. Recommended :)

I can highly recommend booking with Gabriella! The place is lovely and she personally helped us with everything we needed. The staff is also very nice, definitely check out the restaurant on the premises! !
