For everyone who wants to be centrally located close to Madiha Surfpoint but is searching for an escape in the green nature sri lankas. Surfside Madiha is a peaceful local guesthouse renovated completely new for this season to imerse yourself into the local culture but with all the comfort you need for your perfect vacation. Relax in a hammock, listen to the birds and find green trees wherever you look at. Surfside Madiha is a cosy place nestled in a quiet and green environment but still in the center of Madiha. The surfpoint is in only 2 minutes walking distance. The Surfside constists of two houses. This room is located in the second house with three other double rooms. All of them have shelves, hangers, fans, a spacious bed and a private bathroom with a shower. There is a huge living room inside the house where people can relax as well a big terrace and garden with hammocks for you to calm down and enjoy the vibe of this place or listen to the sounds of nature. We also have Wi-Fi in the whole area for all our digital nomads ;-). Cafes and Restaurants are all around the area in walking distance. The second house of the Surfside has a shared kitchen which can be used by all people of the guesthouse. It is fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge, kettle, plates etc. We can arrange you a pick up service from the airport, scooters, organise a tuktuk, surf lessons or tours in the area to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Chethana was super helpful and responsive to all queries. We had to change dates, they were super flexible with that and let us check in early. The place is so idyllic and beautiful, away from the street, quiet and peaceful. Very close to the beach and local cafes/restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back in the future! Thank you for having us!

Muito aconchegante e tranquilo! Dormimos super bem. O quarto é simples, mas muito limpinho e tudo em ótimo estado. Não tem chuveiro quente, mas não sentimos falta já que o clima é bem quente rs amamos acordar todos os dias com barulho dos pássaros na janela! A praia também fica muito proxima, tem bons restaurantes bem pertinho. O Wi-Fi funciona bem.. o anfitrião sempre muito solícito e amigável! Até estendemos a estadia de tanto que gostamos!
We love Madiha and the location of Chethana’s house was very convenient for us. We met very nice people here and loved the garden and all the diversity of plants and flowers. Also the sound of the Indian Ocean.. there is a perfect surfspot as well. We had a few special requests and Chethana managed to make us happy. It was as lovely staying with you! Thank you.
Very nice place off the main road and still very close to practically everywhere. Chethana was a very nice and attentive host. He recommended us options in Matara such as yoga, surfing, etc. I highly recommend 🙏.
