We were an extended family of 7, and the set-up of the living space was perfect for us. The owners have created sitting arrangements in every shady (and sunny) corner of the property, from lazy hammocks under shady olive trees, to a roof-top terrance, to a dining terrace and of course lounging area around the pool. The pool was lovely, and a necessity in the hot weather. We enjoyed sunrise–swims in the cool morning air, evening cocktails, and lots of splashing games in the hot-part of the day. We were left with the impression that owners had thought of everything in a subtle and quiet way. The organisation of the kitchen and other facilities is sensitive and thoughtful Minor questions issues that popped in the course of our stay were addressed within minutes by the local property manager. We explored the region, starting the super recommendations of the owners, enjoying day-trips to extraordinary villages, Adriatic and Mediterranean beaches and vibrant restaurant life.

The house is amazing, as in picture and even better when you are there.. Alain also is a very available person and there you can find guides of the area, books and feeling at your home. We do recommend to spend your holidays at Il Cammino, it is a magic and with good energy place.. Already missing it 😍

i can only agree with all previous reviews, an excellent stay in a charming villa. having stayed at other locations in puglia, this place is close to some less touristic places, we especially liked ceglie m and martina f. climate is good too, a bit drier then closer to the sea as well, and as it is at an elevated position, has some more wind to cool things down a bit! comms were great with alain and the hosting company, especially liked his guidebook for the place and things to do, for instance eating at Antimo was awesome! overall great place to stay.

A totally dreamy place! Family of four, two kids age 11 and 13. We had such a wonderful stay at Il Cammino. We loved the slightly remote feel with all the perks of Ceglie Messapica being just 10 mins down the road. The house is beautiful, beautiful olive trees in the big garden, fig ripening quicker than we could eat them. The swimming pool was the perfect size and we used it at night also. Heaven. This area of puglia is unspoilt and reasonably quiet with a slow feeling, great food and scenery. To anyone wishing to visit the area I would highly recommend Alain and Marit’s place. Thank you. :)

Il Cammino was fantastic. The house is stunning and in the middle of olive trees as far as the eye can see. The neighbors are far from the house so it feels secluded and intimate. We made some really fantastic meals, the kitchen has all the amenities to make elaborate dishes and the outdoor barbecue is brand new. We ate figs and almonds directly from the trees. The rooms have aircon which is really handy in the summer. We rented the house as a group of 7 people and we all unanimously recommend Il Cammino.
