This is my second time to this place however my first time since it turned from Stream Garden to Chestnut Hill Eco Resort. Even it has changed it's operating structure, I still loved this place. The nature here and the nice cool air here is good enough for anyone to rejuvenate themselves and spend some quiet time with yourself and with mother nature. I particularly loved the Room 2 as it has this nice chair at the balcony. The room is clean and comfortable and I have no complains about it. Although breakfast is not included in this room rate, you can order food from the restaurant. I can't comment on other food as I am a vegetarian and I must thank the chef for making delicious vegetarian dishes. In my 3 days stay, I tried their vegetarian noodle soup, vegetarian home made fried spring roll( so fresh and nice that I need to order 2 times in 3 days), vegetarian Clear Tom Yum soup with Basil Leaf, Vegetarian Papaya Salad and Vegetarian Green Curry Fried Rice, Vegetable soup(for breakfast on Day 1), their vegetarian fried noodle and soup(for breakfast on Day 2). Besides the restaurant, the cafe also serve nice beverages. Their smoothies(I tried Raspberry and Mango) are yummy and they made it with their home made yogurt. In addition, they make good coffee too. Having said that, do not expect food or drinks to be served within a short time. The chef and barista prepare the food or drinks upon your order and thus you need to wait. That is also the reason why the food and drinks are fresh and made with love. The staff are friendly and helpful. You are free to roam within the resort and there will be one corner in this piece of land that you will love. Do visit this place if you love nature. Looking forward to the next trip there when the air tickets are not too expensive.
