All new, cozy and modern holiday home (23 + 10 m2). Small house with a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a loft-bedroom. You need to climb up the movable ladder for the loft and storage. Loft height 139 cm. Perfect location 15 mins from town, and 10 mins to the sea with baths and boats to the Gothenburg archipelago. Nearest grocery store and buses are a 1 minute walk. Free parking space outside the house with electric charger (costs apply). Spacious living room with a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm), dinner table with two chairs and a floor lamp. Large glass patio double doors. Fully equipped kitchen including dish washer, induction stove, combined micro wave and regular oven and a combined full height fridge an freezer. The loft has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a storage compartment. To reach the loft and storage spaces above the living room, you need to climb the gliding ladder. This house is therefore not suitable for smaller children and the loft shall not be used by children of any age, anyone with difficulties using the ladder or anyone with limited mobility. Loft height is 139 cm in the middle, which means you can walk hunched. The bathroom has a heated floor, shower, combined washing machine and dryer, toilet, sink and bidé shower. The patio with outdoor dining area and a bbq grill is still a future project, so there’s currently no outdoor space or furniture available. But soon I hope :) The windows have motorized blinds and can be closed / opened with the touch of a button from both the living room and the loft.

We really enjoy our stay at Mats. The location was perfect for our needs. The upstairs space was fine, but it took a while to get used to it, but we are both in our sixties.
I could not recommend this place more for people looking to stay in Gothenburg in an area which is accessible to the city centre but also quiet, peaceful, and private. The tiny home was extremely impressive when it came to technology. First, there is an air conditioner thermostat system which allowed us to keep the place at a comfortable temperature the whole time and filtered the air. Second, the hob in the kitchen was induction rather than electric, meaning it was much quicker to heat up and cook things. Third, the bin system under the sink is extremely satisfying to use, and bin bags were provided. Fourth, there is a very modern washer-dryer which is again super intuitive to use. Fifth, there is a microwave and oven in one which both saves space and was modern. Sixth, the blinds are fully automated with switches. Mats provided all the amenities in the listing and the bed was super comfortable too! The mezzanine style bedroom was really cozy. We look forward to booking again!
Such a wonderful, quiet and peaceful apartment. Fresh and modern, with high quality bedding, furniture and everything you need to self cater. Loved the mezzanine! Mats was really helpful, responsive but also gave me complete privacy - so was the perfect host. Tram 11 straight into town was a great bonus - I’d definitely book here again.
We have had a great time staying at Mats’s place! The tiny house is perfectly equipped with a lots of spices to cook with 😊 The entire house was absolutely clean. Thank you!

Situated in a residential area in "Påvelund", western Gothenburg. Close to the sea with a 10 minute bike ride. Ferries to the southern Gothenburg archipelago at the nearby Saltholmen, and also convenient public transport to the city centre, just 15 minutes away. Perfect for your Gothenburg experience.
There's a grocery store open 8-21 all days, a simple pizzeria and bus stations all just a 1 minute walk from the house. 5 minutes away there's a nice bakery and café with specialty coffee. From there you can walk or jump on a tram and in just 3 minutes you have two really nice restaurants in the Långedrag harbor, a highly-rated thai in the Hinsholmen harbor and a little further a gourmet pizza restaurant by the Saltholmen ferries.
Guests have one parking slot directly by the house. There's an electric car charger with two outlets at the parking. Charging possible to an agreed tariff.
Just 1 minute from the house is the bus stop "Påvelunds centrum". From here you can take buses to the city centre.
With a 5 minute walk you'll get to the trams by the stop "Käringberget", that can take you either west to the Saltholmen ferries taking you to the archipelago, or to the city centre through the nearby "Majorna" area where there's several nice restaurants.
With an 8 minute walk, you reach the bus stop "Beryllgatan", where shuttle bus 50 goes frequently to the city centre without stops in just 10 minutes.
