I have stayed at 100s of Airbnb before never had a bad experience. The place was as described with a nice size TV in both bedrooms. We loved the bed that was adjustable. We arrived a little before check in which was at 3pm. At 1pm no one was at the location cleaning up. We called the contact number and texted Romeo. Romeo never contacted me the whole stay. Airbender contact informed me they didn't know what time we were arriving. They sent someone at 5pm 2 hrs later than our plans counted on so we were messed up entirely for our day of activities. Romeo ignored all of my texts. We got in at 7pm. The next day the AC stopped working. Romeo was notified and didn't respond at all. The ice machine in the fridge was total freezer burned. We defrosted the freezer but it so bad ice cannot drop down. I would not recommend this place mainly because we felt ignored completely. Communication would have gotten a better review. We requested a partial refund and no response. Just piss poor.

During the final day, as I was packing up my suitcase, i discovered rodent bite and tear marks on a food package i had in my suitcase. Upon further review, discovered rodents had gone through my suitcase and defecated in and around my suitcase. Completely disgusted, I looked into the corners of the room, to find mouse traps, telling me the owner was aware of the problem. The host was very unresponsive to the problem, didn’t even offer a refund, and thought airbnb’s less than 10% of total cost refund was enough. Poor communication, the house is in poor shape, the neighborhood is a bit shady. Complaint is being escalated thru airbnb. One the worst experiences I had with a host and also airbnb customer service.

Romeo place was awesome even though the neighborhood is a little rough than what I’m used to to but overall the inside of the house was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. Only thing we had a problem with was the microwave didn’t work when we were trying to warm leftovers up but that wasn’t not serious that we couldn’t work around. I most definitely would recommend this place to stay when visiting Memphis. Thanks again!!!
