Rodney`s Wellness Retreat offers a tranquil and intimate experience with nature, delicious meals and great hiking. We have 9 tents with comfortable airbeds. We are located in Soufriere, 15 min. from the WNT. We also have cottages and apartments. Surrounded by the Morne Plat pays mountain ranges, with close proximity to mineral baths, hiking, snorkeling, diving sites. Banana Campground is situated in a Botanic Garden. CarRod`s Garden has a wide variety of flowers, fruits, birds, and herbs, and serves only menus based on locally grown produce from the Garden and neighbouring farms. Mayan bar serves a variety of local fruit juices and the famous KANAWA Rum punch. Two baths and two restrooms are available on property. Our tents are fitted with air mattress and bedding. It is more like a Glamping experience!!

Бевин - отличный хозяин, гостеприимный и заботливый. Он готов решать проблемы, если они появляются, это важное качество. Доминика все еще нуждается в реконструкции после урагана, на территории нет вай-фай и присутствуют еще следы разрушений. Чтобы купить фрукты, овощи, хлеб или пообедать в ресторане нужно ехать в столицу. Но я всем советую не обращать на это внимание. Вы посетите удивительное место вдали от туристических троп. В 10 минутах - сероводородные водопады и лечебная грязь. В 15 минутах - пляж с пузырьками, купаешься как в шампанском! Доминика - чудесный остров, приезжайте, чтобы местные жители смогли быстрее его восстановить и все красоты будут только для вас!
Un accueil trop sympathique en Dominique et surtout chez Bevin à Banana Camp. J'ai troqué quelques jours mes palmes et mon tuba pour les clous, le marteau et la scie, histoire de soutenir et de contribuer à la reconstruction du camp. Une expérience inoubliable, dans la joie et la bonne humeur, partagée avec Bevin et les autres voyageurs solidaires. Encore un long chemin pour remettre l'électricité sur l'île mais les groupes électrogènes fonctionnent (dommage que le photovoltaïque ne soit pas encore arrivé sur l'île). Sinon pas de problèmes pour se déplacer sur l'île. Je recommande le détour à la Soufrière chez Banana Camp.
Le camping de Bevin est un vrai havre de paix! Les tentes sont au milieu de son jardin botanique, les matelas sont très confortables. Bevin est un hote fantastique, disponible et très patient: malgré notre mauvais anglais il a pris le temps de nous donner tous les conseils dont on avait besoin.. Là-bas le temps s'arrête et on prend le temps. Le camp est très bien situé dans la Soufrière, à la sortie du village tout en étant à 5min à pied de la plage et de petits commerces si on veut s'acheter de quoi grignoter. Nous n'avions pas de voiture et avons pu faire de très belles balades à pied en partant du camp pendant 3 jours. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et la cuisine est excellente. Je recommande complètement cet endroit!! Merci encore Bevin pour ta bonne énergie
It is a lovely location close to the heart of Soufriere where you feel welcome and like home. The people there are warm with the guests and Bevin is a wonderful host, I highly recommend the place for any type of trips.

We are located 20 minutes from the beginning of the first segment of the Waitukubuli National Trail (WNT) and 10 minutes from the beginning of the second segment. The rejuvenating Mayan Sulphur baths is only a 15 minute soft hike away from our campground.
Buses run Monday-Saturday from 6am-9pm, bus stop is a short 5 minute walk.

I am an avid nature lover and a protector of mother Earth. The Waitukubuli National Trail is just about 15 mins from the property so I do a lot of hiking. Soufriere boasts a host of nature attractions,namely the Champagne reef known for it`s under water majesty, mineral baths, Soufriere sulphur springs/ bubble beach . Island wide we take you for a sample of the gem, the Nature Isle offers. We would like to immerse our guests in that kind of environment to allow a re-birth , rejuvenation of ones self by the power of nature and all things natural. You may visit the Rodney`s Wellness Retreat platform to reserve our cottages, ORLEANDER and HIBISCUS offering a nature ambiencein a bortanic garden setting. We wish all a COVID free return to the Nature isle. See you soon. RWR /Mirage Inc /Big Banana Campground hurricane Maria alert. On Monday September 18th, the Nature isle experienced the destructive forces of Hurricane Maria brought on by climate change. Since then the RWR / Mirage Inc family has been fully engaged in the reconstruction of the kitchen/ reception & gazebo to be ready by October 2018. Our new "Mayan bar" now located closer to the pool, opens Wednesday to Saturday ; serving light snacks, fresh juices and a variety of herb infused rum. "Hibiscus " cottage and the campground ( minimum tents presently) awaits your presence. We take this opportunity to thank our valued past guests,to apologize for the inconvenience caused to our confirmed guests during the period of closure. The pool is being refreshed and as a result is unavailable for use at the moment. We look forward to your continued support as you find new spaces in your travels. Rebuilding of the Soufriere tourism Hot spots is also targeted to be completed by year end. Mayan baths has evolved. Airports and seaport are already opened with ongoing restoration work on major national tourism attractions. We would appreciate any type of support for our rebuilding effort.
