My mother and I have been going on instate adventures this past year. When I came across a listing of an Alpaca farm, I knew I had found a perfect place for our weekend. Annie was very communicative and gave a really nice gift to celebrate Mom’s birthday. When we arrived, she invited us to meet her Alpaca herd and other animals for dinner feeding time. It was a wonderful way to start our evening and stay! The house is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the mountains on one side and the farmhouse with the Alpaca lounging on the other. Well set up kitchen. Other places that we visited while there. Check out Mission:Wolf -An amazing wolf sanctuary that provides education . Bishop’s Castle in Rye CO- This is private property that requests donations to climb. There is nothing built to code but it’s pretty incredible! The Historic Alpine Lodge - I had one of the best steaks here (local meat). I hope to return to Willow Wind Farm in the future!

Annie's unit was amazing! The cabin itself was beautiful set with lots of space, windows everywhere giving way to incredible views, and amazing plants that made the space vibrant. The place was spotless and filled with amenities including a full kitchen, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, lotions, lots of towels in every room, and ample and comfortable seating. Right out front is the farm teeming with alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, a barn cat, and even cows! Annie gave my family a tour -- we got introduced to the animals and learned so much about how a farm works. I would highly recommend Annie's to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway! We will definitely be heading back for the summer.

Everything about our stay was such a great experience! The house was a great space to accommodate our group. Annie was very thoughtful and accommodating. She was such a great host! Annie took the time to take us on a tour of her farm to see all of the animals and to learn about them. The children & adults had a great time. The property had plenty of space and is in such a beautiful location. It is about 8 minutes away from town. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Willow Wind Farm was absolutely perfect start to finish! The views were INCREDIBLE (pictures truly can’t do it justice), the cabin was beautiful, comfy, and clean, and Annie, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The town of Westcliffe is right down the road and full of fun shops and restaurants. It looks like it’s straight out of a Hallmark movie, especially compared to what we’re used to seeing in Texas. Annie gave us a tour of the farm and we got to meet the alpacas and goats- that was so much fun!! She provided handmade soaps from the farm, which felt like such a special touch. She even shared her Christmas dinner leftovers with us since we arrived Christmas evening and everything nearby was closed. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this trip and Annie’s beautiful cabin- this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts. We already can’t wait to return. Thank you Annie!! :) 100 stars!
