Escape the city at The Ocean Central, with a stunning vista across Kilcunda Coastal Reserve. This house is uniquely central to Inverloch (20 minutes drive), Phillip Island (10 minutes drive), Wilson promontory national park (1 hour), the wine region of mornington peninsula (1 hours+ drive). Winter offer - free 2pm late check outs. Nestled in a private street, The Ocean Central is an easy 2 minute walk to the ocean front beaches, skate & kids park, bike & walk trails and onto the iconic Kilcunda Trestle Bridge and the Powlett river estuary. From here there are numerous activities to enjoy including the 7 KMs long George Bass coast walk and the 21 KMs long Bass coast rail trail. Venture locally and you will also find the Gurdies winery for a picnic and Waterline riding academy for horse or pony rides too are worth a visit. The Space Upstairs is the kitchen, dining, living area with a wood heater and the master bedroom, double bedroom and bathroom - shower. The upstairs is wrapped around by a generous deck for outdoor dining and watching the beautiful sunsets. Downstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, family bathroom - shower over tub, laundry and second TV living area. The garden is fully enclosed for pets with a dog door to enclosed converted garage space (parking in the garage is not possible) there is a large driveway for multiple cars and/or boats (caravans or tents are not permitted at the property at any time) Bedding Configuration (Sleeps 10) Bedroom 1: 1x Queen upstairs Bedroom 2: 1x Double upstairs Bedroom 3: 1x Queen downstairs Open Space: 1x Tri bunk & single bed. Great location for walks with the kids and fur kid, less than 5 minutes walk to the Kilcunda foreshore reserve, skate park, beach, bbq area and amazing sunset views.
The house was clean with a spacious balcony to watch the ocean. Beds were comfortable and linen was clean. This is a dog friendly downstairs house which we didn’t know at time of booking so it was incredibly difficult to keep them downstairs without a baby gate. Luckily the weather was great and we were at the Chanel Challenge all day so it wasn’t a big issue. It could have been if it was winter. So read the fine print I would say. Beautiful house to relax in.
Great house for a long weekend for 4 kids & 5 adults. Plenty of space & great backyard for our dog (a few gaps in fence to be mindful of). Great location, short walk to shop, pub & beach. Walk along the beach is lovely, albeit windy!
This was the perfect home for a multigenerational family holiday. It has several living spaces, different bedroom configurations and a lovely enclosed yard. The verandah was perfect for lounging, the yard for keeping kids safe and playing outside and the open plan living and dining meant we could all be together. Highly recommend.
The house was clean and had plenty of space for 6 adults to celebrate Christmas around the well appointed dining room table. Big flat screen television provided plenty of entertainment options. Wrap around verandah with outdoor furniture for 6 which unfortunately we couldn't use due to bad weather. Four bedrooms, one with ensuite were comfy, if you like firm mattresses. There was no pantry or accessible space to place the food we brought, so we had to scatter the crates around the place, otherwise the kitchen was very well appointed.
