Settled among the rural picturesque Arrow Junction landscape with views of the stunning surrounding mountains and valleys, the Arrow Junction Hideaway is the perfect location for any trip. Located 5min drive from Arrowtown and positioned on the cycle trail extending to the Gibbston Valley wineries, its the perfect location for walkers and bikers. Come stay and see for yourself! The cottage is set up for 4 people with one queen bed in the master suite and one queen bed in the down stairs bedroom, with the possibility of a single bed to be added to a smaller room if requested. A portacot is also available at request. The kitchen is equiped with fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher and during summer months a BBQ will be available. The cottage is incredible warm but for during the winter months the ease of the gas fire for extra warmth and ambience is there, with a heat pump located in the down stairs bedroom. There is a laundry (washing machine) situated in the second bathroom with a clothes line located just off the deck with in the private backyard. We live in the main house on the same property just past the cottage but can assure you that you won't be disturbed, however pop in with any queries you may have.

Our stay at Jess's apartment was perfect! We felt right at home in the apartment which was spacious, beautifully decorated and nice and cosy thanks to the fireplace. There was plenty of space for 3 adults and my little one. Also the beds and couch were both super comfy. The outdoor area was picturesque and the location was super convenenient close to both Queenstown and Arrowtown with all of the best wineries within a 5 to 10 minute drive. There was also little paddock within walking distance where you could hand feed some goats which was cute. Jess was an incredible host, the best we've encountered on Airbnb. Check in was a breeze and she responded very prompty to any questions we had. Jess provided us with a portacot and highchair free of charge which was very helpful. Then when Jess noticed we had left behind some items after checking out, she reached out posted them to us that same day. We were very grateful for our stay and would highly recommend.
The directions to the property are prompt, accurate and easy to follow. The property is separate to the host. We were greeted by Jess’s 2 lovely friendly dogs.. the house is amazing with all amenities except air conditioning which is mentioned in the listing already. All amenities are well maintained. The house was very clean. It felt like home. The decor and the kitchenware is organised to suit everyone’s aesthetics. Just beautiful!! The outdoor, no words can explain the view. Mountains and golden trees rustling amongst the winds.. so much space outdoors for kids and adults to play. Jess is amazing and my entire family has decided to always stay at Jess’s when we visit again :)

What a beautiful location! We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy, tranquility and amazing views! The cottage itself has all the comforts you need when travelling and is tastefully decorated. We would happily return.
Beautiful, spacious, peaceful and stunning outdoor area! Loved how central it was to areas we wanted to visit and really appreciated how friendly and accommodating Jess was - would highly recommend!

Arrow Junction Hideaway is a quiet, sunny and relaxing home away from home. The Queenstown cycle trail is right on the door step allowing a beautifully scenic cycle to Arrowtown or Gibbston Valley, or gentle undulating walk.
We are also located centrally to multiple golf course's (Millbrook or Arrowtown) if this is more your speed.
For the winter bunnies, we are only a 25min drive from Coronet Peak and the Remarkables and Cardrona are only 40mins away.
We are 5 mins drive from Arrowtown where you can find many cafes, restaurants and shops to enjoy, or 5mins in the other direction to Gibbston Valley where you will find an abundance of wineries.
A 15 min drive from Frankton (where the Queenstown Airport is located) and 25mins from central Queenstown.
Wanaka is just a 50min drive over the Crown Range for a change in scenery.
There is no public transport available to our location, so your own vehicle is essential.

My husband and I love the living and raising our family in the Arrowtown basin and consider ourselves long time locals with Luke growing up just around the corner. We count ourselves incredibly lucky to have access to the beautiful hikes and stunning locations on our back door step everyday and can't wait to share our cottage with anyone who is up to experiencing what we believe one of the best locations New Zealand has to offer.
