Thank you Troy for going above and beyond during our stay while we celebrated our 13th anniversary! Troy's place was cozy, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable! I would highly recommend staying at Troy's. Places we visited while at Troy's; Thermëa by Nordik Spa-Nature (It's a must when visiting Winnipeg and about 30 mins) PineRidge Hollow. (Outside of Winnipeg 30 mins. Lots of shopping, resturants, bakery, walking paths, etc.) Canada life centre (Went to a concert, about 15 mins away.) Last but not least, Ikea. (About 30 mins away.) We will definitely be staying at Troy's again when visiting Winnipeg. Stephen & Jessie
There was a parking mishap and our car got towed, Tony willing refunded some our payment to rectify the situation even before I had asked. He has a beautiful space. I would definitely recommend this unit.
You will be in a quiet yet dynamic residential neighbourhood which is considered a bit of a "hidden gem". The Scotia Heights neighbourhood is east of Main Street and runs from Saint Johns Park to Kildonan Park. Scotia Street, which is 5 min away by foot, runs parallel to the red river and is closed on holidays and Sundays for pedestrian and bike traffic only. You'll also be a 5 min walk to St John's Park, a riverside green space and 4 min drive will take you over to Kildonan Park and Rainbow Stage, an outdoor theatre where you can catch a musical theatre production. Kildonan Park also offers walking trails, and a seasonal pool/waterpark.
Downtown and Exchange District are very easily reached, and only a 7 minute drive away.
