Tara’s beautiful home was filled with warmth, lovely comforts and treats. We were there to be with family and old friends. It allowed us to gather for an informal lunch together, kick the footy and just be. We enjoyed a walk around the beautiful lake and into town for supplies and coffee. It was clean and comfortable.

We loved Elm Cottage. It is beautifully decorated and is stocked with everything you will need. It's in a great location in a beautiful street and within walking distance to the gardens and town. Tara was always on hand if need be and check in was no fuss. Definitely returning.

What a joy it was to spend Easter weekend at Elm Cottage! In the weeks leading up to our visit, Tara was extremely flexible and helpful as we juggled the final number of guests. The check-in instructions were thorough and clear. And once we arrived … WOW! The cottage was so lovely. Every room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The garden was peaceful and inviting. The beds were cosy and comfortable. And there were endless surprises when it came to food and drink … everything from a special bottle of red wine to organic milk in the refrigerator, from homemade strawberry jam to delicious chocolate Easter eggs, not to mention a basket of snacks and bottled water. Honestly, we felt like we were being welcomed by family rather than an airbnb host we’d never met. Thank you, Tara!! Bottom line, we couldn’t be happier with our stay and we look very much forward to our next visit!
