Beautiful location and house. There was some minor construction going on but it wasn’t anything that negatively affected our stay.
House was a great size and perfect for our group of families. The beach was great and not crowded. The view was great but there are oil rigs in the ocean. The owners were difficult to work with. The pool was supposed to be done and it wasn’t communicated until the day before it wouldn’t be complete. We were told there would be no construction but they continued construction which interfered with our vacation. When we asked the owners to honor what ACP had previously communicated they refused to stop the construction. We were given 3 options; 2 of which were to vacate the premises which would have been a complete inconvenience. The house was not safe for our little kids and owners were difficult to work with; which was very frustrating. At first they offered a free golf cart ride for our inconvenience but after we pushed they gave us money back.
This place was amazing! My whole family stayed for Christmas and we had the best time together! The view is absolutely unbelievable! We loved the restaurants and it was so close to Bellingrath Gardens. This was our first visit to Dauphin Island...what a hidden gem!
