Nestled on the fringe of Arakoon National Park. Arakoon is home to the historic Trial Bay Gaol, only a short stroll away. The area boasts amazing nature walks. You will experience the kangaroos in the streets and beach and the belly laugh of the kookaburras. Bay 2 Bay is 400 m from Little Bay and 600 m from Trial Bay, where you can walk, swim, kayak or simply laze in the warm sand gazing at the spectacular views over the bay to the mountain ranges and South West Rocks. Our sunny, spacious and quiet three bedroom holiday house is nestled in the quiet surrounds of Arakoon smack between Trial Bay and Little Bay. You will be surrounded by sounds of the ocean and nature. Relax in the spacious air conditioned open plan living area with large smart TV, DVD player and sound bar. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your home away from home. Includes oven, stove, microwave, fridge, toaster/kettle and coffee machine. We supply Nespresso pods. There is an additional drink fridge that can be turned on for use. The laundry has quality washing machine /dryer and clothes horse for more delicate clothes. There is a full size hills hoist clothes line outside. WiFi is included for your added convenience. There is a cozy sun nook to enjoy your morning coffee and chat. The main bedroom has a king bed, ensuite, television and air conditioning, you will never want to leave this comfortable space. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a ceiling fan. The third bedroom with 2 single beds and a ceiling fan. Quality 100% cotton linen is supplied for all beds as are towels. Relax after a day of fishing and swimming in the covered mosquito screened outdoor area while you enjoy a BBQ with family and friends. There is a Weber family Q and utensils for your use. Park your car in the single garage. There is additionally ample off street shaded parking and space in the yard to park a small boat. The yard is fully fenced.

Escape to paradise at Bay 2 Bay in Arakoon, South West Rocks. Nestled on the fringe of the magnificent Arakoon National Park on the Mid North Coast in NSW.
Arakoon is home to the historic Trial Bay Gaol, only a short stroll away. The area boasts amazing nature walks from Trial Bay Goal to Smokey Cape Lighthouse where you can experience the ocean views, dolphin and whale watching vantage points and flora and fauna with historical sites along the way. Early morning and late afternoons you will experience the kangaroos on the streets or hopping along the beach as well as the belly laugh of the happy kookaburras. Often you’ll spot a koala or two in the tree!
Bay 2 Bay is only 400 metres from Little Bay. Pack a picnic with goodies from the Pink Elephant Deli and take a short stroll and enjoy the tranquility of this stunning bay, listen to the ocean and feel the sand between your toes.
A 600 meter stroll will take you to the beautiful sands of Trial Bay, where you can walk, swim, kayak or simply laze in the warm sand gazing at the spectacular views over the bay to the mountain ranges and South West Rocks. From here you can walk to the township of South West Rocks in around 40 minutes either on the beach or the foot / bike path. Dogs are welcome on the beach but in certain areas. Refer to the many signs.
A short 15 minute walk leads you to the Trial Bay Kiosk where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will be surprised with this little gem, beautiful water views and amazing food. Imagine sitting on their deck overlooking the bay and a sunset with a tantalizing refreshment of your choice.
Make sure you bring your bikes and take a ride along the path which runs from house back into South West Rocks and dine at one of the local restaurants and shop.
Book a cruise / fishing trip on the estuary and bay. Play in the kids playground by the creek in South West Rocks. Take a walk on the headlands that lead from the creek here to Back Creek where you can swim and see beautiful fish. Walk over the bridge to get to the beach where dogs can enjoy a walk with you. Don’t forget to sample the gelato at Chillati! The surf club has the most amazing view over the bay where you can relax with a drink and have a meal.
There are cafes, pubs and restaurants to dine at and don’t forget a game of ten pin bowling at the social alley, South West Rocks Country Club. There is a magnificent 18 hole golf course!

Born in Geelong, I was 6 months old when my international odyssey began, to Germany, Holland, Venezuela, Borneo and Singapore, as my father moved with Shell. In 1978 the family moved back to a paradise on the north coast of NSW. I love to entertain and cook, I enjoy spending time in my organic veggie garden. As an avid nature lover, I spend time each day walking and enjoying the outdoors. Most of all I love spending time with my grandchildren encouraging them to explore nature and create play with what nature offers us.
