Our hostel in Vagamon is a backpackers’ hostel nestled in the soothing green meadows of Vagamon, a small hill-town in Kerala, India. Deluxe Private Room(Ensuite) with amenities like bedside lamps, lockers, 24 hours reception, Hot water facility, common hangout areas to chill with in-house travelers, Free wifi, cafe, and common television area to relax after a long day. For the ones traveling solo or as a couple. One of the best places in South India for paragliding, Vagamon features pine forests, waterfalls, flora, and lush meadows. This diversity in the vista also makes it a good host for activities like hiking, trekking, off-roading and ziplining, along with a memorable experience of paragliding. Offering traditional food, quiet surroundings, and an unexplored landscape, Vagamon is your perfect rejuvenating getaway.

It was a very pretty room with a wonderful view. The host was very helpful and arranged a jeep for sightseeing. The food was affordable and good. Common areas were great. We had a nice time on the hammock placed on the cliff.
This place is located in beautiful surroundings but needs management upgrade.
Do visit Zostel vagamon , the location and surrounding was great , but do check the season and climate before you visit , the staff were friendly and the food was good but expensive, mist visit place and I would like to visit after monsoon.
Had a nice stay in Zostel. The room which we stayed was neat, with all the necessary amenities. It also had a balcony with a beautiful view. The food from their restaurant was also good. Would love to come again.
Bra boende och riktigt god mat! Vi besökte painforest och infinity pool som vilket var toppen om en vill gå omkring i en lugn skog och vatten. 2 nätter är bra att stanna på stället.

Based in a scarcely explored region, it is a travellers’ gateway to Nature in its purest form, away from the tourists and city life. The front yard at our hostel overlooks a vast expanse of lush green hills while the backyard gives way to nearby tea estates.

Landmark: Kurishumala Junction, 1 km, ~INR 70 for a tuk-tuk.
From Kottayam Railway Station: 65 km, 2.5 hrs, ~INR 2,500 for a taxi to Zostel Vagamon.
Alternatively, buses from Kottayam directly to Vagamon or via Erattupetta are available between 5:15 AM and 7 PM. So get down at Kurishumala Junction.
From Cochin International Airport: 100 km, 3.5 hours, ~INR 4,000 for a prepaid taxi to Zostel Vagamon.
Alternately, take a bus to Thodupuzha. From here, buses to Vagamon leave at 7:50 AM, 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM. For more frequent buses, follow this bus route: Thodupuzha > Erattupetta > Kurishumala Jn (Vagamon).
