This is a modern newly remodeled 900 square foot 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. It has modern updated kitchen and bathroom finishings, and a small patio off of the living room. **Please read about the neighborhood in section at bottom of page before booking** Enjoy drinks or morning coffee on the side patio, overlooking the street with lots of green space. Enjoy a Keurig coffee. Make breakfast with a stocked newly remodeled kitchen with new appliances. Go for a jog on the paved Greenway trail just steps from your front door, which gives you access to over 100 miles of paved trails which make a huge loop around Raleigh through a series of interconnected parks and riverside paths. Walk 6 minutes up said Greenway to get the most coveted bagels in Raleigh from Benchwarmers Bagels in the Trade Co Food Hall. Rent an electric scooter (found parked around downtown) or a bike from the city bike share, and ride to nearby State Capitol to see the memorial statues. Get a drink from one of the many breweries nearby, including Bhavana Brewery and Trophy Brewing. Walk the cobblestones streets of Historic City Market. Walk to a show at the Duke Performing Arts Center or Red Hat Arena or the Raleigh Convention Center or Lincoln Theater, all within a 15 min walk. Or stay in and watch a movie on the Roku in the stylish living room. Within walking distance of all downtown attractions, restaurants and bars, including State Capitol building, the convention center, Trade Co. Food Hall, Marbles Kid Museum, Lincoln Theater, Red Hat Amphitheater, and Historic City Market.

We had a fantastic time. It was a super easy walk downtown to restaurants and a short drive to Walnut Creek amphitheater. The oustide wasn’t fancy but it was really nice inside. Laid back atmosphere. Great place to stay.

We actually did not stay at this property because Nick informed us there were electrical issues. We stayed at a different AirBNB that belongs to his sister. It worked out fine for us. We were only there for one night and didn’t use the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure quite weak. I wasn’t comfortable with the door lock because the code is not changed for each guest. I hope they will rethink that. But overall the place worked out well for us.
Had everything you need, iron, washer/dryer, shampoo, coffee, etc. Nice 2bdr apartment in decent area. No one bothered me my entire time there and no issues at all thank you so much for a great time
Overall great stay at a very reasonable price. Nick was very communicative. Accommodations were comfortable enough. I'm not familiar with Raleigh neighborhoods but the area seemed fine and was definitely walkable to restaurants and coffee shops, and otherwise a short drive to anywhere else downtown. The unit did slightly smell of smoke. No knock on Nick as this was probably a guest that broke no smoking policy. It was subtle enough I imagine it can be easily addressed.

(Please read all of the following before booking) This is a really cute and central spot with great walking access to all downtown Raleigh has to offer! There are lots of great restaurants and breweries close by. The apartment is steps away from a walking trail that leads to a new food hall and downtown hot spots. The building is also surrounded by big grassed areas, giving the area an open feel for being downtown.....
Please keep in mind this is city-living, so if you aren't used to staying downtown please be aware: neighbors are a mix of poor and wealthy, as is typical with most downtowns. Many of the houses in the neighborhood were former low-income housing. This area is being gentrified quickly. Many of them have been or are being renovated like mine to garner high rents. A couple blocks away from the place is a lower-income neighborhood, but a couple blocks the other direction are luxury high-rent condos. The street nearby is is a throughway to downtown, so there is an above average amount of walking traffic, ranging from hipsters and students going to bars to working class people walking to jobs.
I want you to enjoy your stay in Raleigh and I hope this place is a great fit for you! I feel, and my friends who live nearby, feel extremely safe here. But I understand everyone has their own standard for safety and that is my top priority for you. Enjoy Raleigh!
