I'll start by saying that Ellen did work with AirBnB to refund 4 of 6 nights of our planned stay and allowed us to find alternate accomodation. The downstairs tenant's barking dogs are an issue. They bark at any sounds they hear from the upstairs tenants when the owners are not home. The dogs were quiet from around 7pm in the evening through the night. However, the afternoon to ~7pm time was uncomfortable for our entire group, and set the tone for the evening. I am a dog lover with 2 large dogs at home, and wouldn't rent my place until a solution was in place to address the agitation of the dogs and the tenants.

- Not entire house like listing states. There are people living downstairs, with dogs that bark. Can’t use backyard as that’s just for downstairs tenants. Dog run is accessible but very overgrown. - not the cleanest place. There was trash left in the garbages, a used face towel draped over the shower curtain, sheets in the bunk bed room had what looked like dried drool on the top bunk, and pet hair on the bottom bunk. House has a smell of dogs, couches in living room also. - bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps/shampoo. - washer and dryer very noisy. Wouldn’t be the end of the world if there weren’t people living downstairs, but I’m sure the shaking appliances was very loud for them. - No fan in master bath, 2 of the 3 lights don’t work. - super nice neighborhood. Safe, quiet. - wouldn’t stay here again until the above are remedied.

Pros: 1) Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood 2) Kitchen is big and has everything you need 3) Beds are very comfortable and blankets are soft and warm 4) Lots of games and toys for the kiddos to play with 5) Water gets very hot which makes for a great shower Cons: 1) Listing says entire house but you only get the upstairs and someone lives downstairs 2) Person living downstairs has 3 dogs that bark loudly and pretty consistently 3) Backyard is off limits to guests and both doors that lead back there are basically nailed shut which I think is a potential fire hazard 4) Couches are small so if you're traveling with more than 5+ people and hanging out in the living room you either squish in on the couch or sit on the floor 5) Thermostat is locked and you have to contact the host and have her change the temperature on her phone All in all it's a nice place and I would stay here again but I definitely think the listing needs to be updated so you know what you're getting
