This Special Place is the perfect getaway in Central Glastonbury. It’s location is ideal for those wanting to immerse themselves in the unique wonder of this town. With the Sacred Sites within walking distance, and the Magical High-street just a stones throw away this really is just the treat! This lovely self contained, converted attic space is the perfect private getaway in Glastonbury. With a full ensuite including a lovely shower, a snug area, double bed & kitchenette area you will have everything you need to be self sufficient & enjoy spaciousness during your stay. The space has a wonderfully light and airy feel with fantastic views of the amazing Glastonbury Tor & our local church St John’s. It really does feel like a magical space. The self contained attic has its own stairs and doorway above the rest of the house. Entrance to the property is through the front door and straight up the main house stairs, along the landing and then to your own private doorway. We fully respect and understand that guests may want to minimise interactions with others during their trip and will only engage in conversation if you wish to chat with us about anything. Otherwise we are happy to minimise interactions so you can enjoy your holiday in privacy. Of course if you want to ask us anything we are more than happy to help. The main front door has a lock box so you are welcome to do self check in/check out and take yourself straight up to your own self contained space. Because this space in in the attic of our house the only key is the key to the main front door The kitchenette area has a fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and all the crockery you may need. It also has tea, coffee, sugar & organic a2 milk which is available on request for no extra cost. The double bed has 100% cotton sheets for maximum comfortability. Wifi is also available. There is a large clothes rail for clothes storage & a lovely snug area for chilling on away from the bed. We are a family of 4, a couple and our two children. We are out and about in the day times or downstairs in our private living space so the attic space will usually be very quiet. We do bed & bath time around 7/8pm on the middle floor of the house so you maybe hear some giggles and mild noise during this time as we like to play and read stories before bed. The stairs and doorway are great for noise cancelling so this won’t be too loud! You are free to come and go as you please we just ask that you maintain a respectful level of noise when coming in after our kids bedtime and try not to have loud conversations on the main landing of the house on your way up to your self contained space. Please also try not to slam doors if your coming through late at night. There is a night light on the landing for use after 8pm which is our children’s bedtime. Please avoid using the big light as it’s very bright and can wake up the children. You are free to do as you wish upstairs within reason as the noise doesn’t carry down to the bedrooms to much. Of course we do ask that you are respectful and we are very reasonable people so the space is yours to enjoy as you wish during your stay.
