We are a hill walking group of 9 from Ireland & the house had 6 bedrooms so plenty of room for us all. Niguelas is a lovely quiet village with limited facilities but has a large supermarket about 3K away. The house is next to some wonderful mountains so were spoilt for choice & this was our play ground right on our door step. The pool was fantastic after a long day in the hills. The outdoor BBQ was easy to use with logs & charcoal left for us. Streets in Niguelas are very narrow so is best to get to the house from the slip road near Durcal. The owners Alfonso & Ana were there to meet and greet us and left us some nice snacks which were very welcome after our long journey. I would recommend the house as a great base for a bigger group to explore the west side of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in dem tollen Haus.Wir sind erst sehr spät angekommen was für Ana garkein Problem war.Ich kann das Jaus nur weiterempfehlen. Es hat alles super geklappt.Vielen Dank

Arriving at the village produced a wow from us and the villa also was greeted with a wow! We were met by the owners who showed us around and explained how everything worked. The villa had more than enough space for a group of 10 adults along with plenty of plates, glasses cutlery etc and importantly for us enough seating outside to share meals. The outside area was private and had quiet spots if one of us wanted to spend time reading. The village itself is beautiful with many friendly bars, serving the most incredible tapas and all of the were in walking distance. We had no trouble going up and down the slopes of the village but if you have mobility problems the walk may be a little difficult. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away by car. It is a villa we would highly recommend and would love to return.

The house was absolutely beautiful with stunning surroundings. The town itself was lovely with very friendly locals and walkable bars. Hosts were really friendly and very responsive. On arrival wine and snacks were left for us. A wonderful family holiday for everyone aged 2 to 76. Thank you for our lovely stay!

Niguelas is een klein, rustig dorpje, halverwege een adembenemend mooie berg. Ingeklemd tussen twee straten vind je dit prachtige huis, waar Ana Louisa en Alfons ons zeer hartelijk welkom heetten! Dank voor jullie warme ontvangst en humor - en dat jullie steeds voor ons beschikbaar waren! (en wat een prachtige kunst!) Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien: er zijn diverse kleine, maar comfortabele kamers (allemaal met airco en rolluiken), er is een tuin met eettafel en zwembad (onverwarmd, maar op de hete dagen was dat erg verkoelend). Je hebt geen totale privacy in de tuin, want je kijkt vanuit het zwembad op een weg, maar je krijgt daar een bergriviertje voor terug, dat gezellig door de tuin klatert. Daarnaast is het huis een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor avonturen in de omgeving: we hebben gefietst, gewandeld, het Alhambra bezocht, mammoeten gezocht met onze kinderen, allemaal binnen bereik van Niguelas. Dus nogmaals dank voor jullie gastvrijheid! Want dit huis is echt een aanrader.
