We're located close enough to make day trips convenient but with enough privacy for families wanting to relax for the weekend. Our homely place is a great place for a bonding getaway for families. Here we can offer you an intimate experience of the countryside and wilderness, amid hills, forest reserves, waterfalls, hot spring and an Orang Asli settlements. Life is simple and peaceful at this centrally-located place.

Great place to stay in KKB. A hidden gems in KKB town. Easy access to all the shops and dinning. Laundry and 7e in front of the place. Nice and clean place to stay. Can fit up to 6 pax comfortably with 2 toilets (with shower). COMPLIMENTARY drinks, large bottle mineral water, canned drinks, snacks ( few large packs of potato chips, etc.), biscuits and 3in1. There are also board games for you to use, smart TV for Netflix, etc. Definitely will come again.
this listing is perfectly decorated as per image. you will feel hommy as u stay there. the location is in the center of Kuala Kubu Bharu small old town surrounding with all stuff and ammenities that you need. everything is within walking distance. perfect place to transit before Fraser Hills. keep it up Joe!

The place does not look very promising from the outside because it is actually at the second floor of the shoplot in KKB Town. However, it feels like a hidden gem after you get into Joe's place . The place is nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. The property has 3 single beds and 1 double bed, which is just nice for 5 pax. The sound insulation is not perfect but is good enough, you dont hear a lot of noise despite it is located at the 2nd floor of the shoplot in KKB Town. The place feels like home, very warm and comfortable. Joe is generous enough to provide some snacks and drinks for you to help yourself. Please be considerate and only consume them in the airbnb and do not bring them away with you when you leave.
We like that the place has a living & dining area where we could mingle and the kids can play board games, which the host also provided. Bathrooms and pantry are clean and designed for convenience. Location is in town centre with many eateries within walking distance, plus there's a laundry shop and convenience store opposite the street.

Kuala Kubu Bharu is a charming little town at the foothills of Bukit Fraser in Hulu Selangor. Also known as 'KKB' by locals, the town began life as a mining colony in the 18th Century.
Later, it housed a fortress built by warring Sultans during a period of civil war before falling into colonial hands. KKB was originally situated between two tributaries of the Selangor River, but a massive flood in 1883 wiped out the entire town infrastructure, claiming 33 lives including District Magistrate and Revenue Collector Sir Cecil Ranking.
The town was then moved to its present location on hilly terrain, surrounded by lush valleys, to prevent further tragic recurrences.
You can see the mountain range from this pleasant and quiet town. There are a few rows of shophouses which are about 80 years old, many of which had been renovated and re-painted. Try some of the food and go sight seeing within the vicinity. Here are some of them.
Getting there is easy for visitors travelling to Fraser's Hill from the North-South Highway route or Rawang, located along the access route about 30 km away from the Gap. Framed by a backdrop of rainforest and hills, heritage shophouses from colonial days mingle alongside clusters of traditional houses - Life here is unhurried, pleasant and peaceful, unfettered by the constraints of modern living.
Walking around town and admiring its architectural landscape, little has changed from the colonial era in pace of life. Some tourist activities include exploring Guan Yin Gu See Temple, recreational walks at Taman Millenium Park, dipping in a hot spring and paragliding while Sungai Selangor Dam and Sungai Pertak lie in the outskirts.
