At the back of our garden is a garden house that was completely renovated in 2023. The cottage is fully equipped. It contains a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and combi microwave. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a washbasin and shower with rain shower and hand shower and a toilet. In the open sitting room there is a corner sofa that also serves as a sofa bed. this is equipped with a topper for extra sleeping comfort. The dining room table is for 4 people and is foldable to save space. the extra chairs are in the bedroom next to the bunk bed.

Le logement est fort petit pour 4 grandes personnes, logement trop à l'étroit.
Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het is een prachtige omgeving en de airbnb ligt vlakbij het Schildmeer waar je mooi kan wandelen en uitwaaien. De airbnb is van alle gemakken voorzien en is ingericht met oog voor detail. Het huisje is fijn gelegen in de tuin van de host waarbij je echt een eigen stukje van de tuin ter beschikking hebt. Dat maakt het rustig en privé. Het ontbijt is ook zeker een aanrader en de gastvrouw is heel hartelijk en denkt met je mee. Kortom; van harte aanbevolen!

Steendam is a village located on the Schildmeer. The Schildmeer is part of the Roegwold nature reserve. In the Roegwold area you can spot special birds and enjoy walking and cycling.
On the lake you can practice water sports such as: swimming, boating, surfing and kite surfing. There is also a sandy beach where recreation takes place in the summer. We have a goblin trail for walking and there is a great golf course. Steendam is centrally located for trips to Groningen, Borkum, seal shelters and the Groningen deposits.
