Idyllic rural setting in Forster backing on to Booti NP, just 10 minutes from town. Nature lovers, birdwatchers, photographers and romantics will be enchanted by the views and their surroundings. Situated on our 3.5 acre property at Cape Hawke, you can wander the gardens, wetland and rainforest creek or sit by the little lake and soak up the views. You can access the bush trail to Seven Mile from the cottage gate, an easy 25 minute walk. This one bedroom standalone cosy cottage has its own fully fenced private lawn and courtyard adjacent to the host’s house with guaranteed privacy. It features full kitchen, dining area, separate bedroom with ensuite (incl laundry) and own door to verandah offering magnificent views. There is a private screened courtyard at the front entrance, with outdoor eating area and bbq. This flows to the wrap around verandah that leads to the backyard lawn area and seasonal vegetable garden available to guests, along with freshly laid eggs. The back fence follows Booti National Park, to the east you can view neighbouring green pastures stretching to The Saddle while the northern aspect boasts the majestic Cape Hawke peak. Its easy to while away the time looking out.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and quickly discovered many thoughtful touches including those that celebrated the property's beauty (e.g., fresh flowers, baby tomatoes from the garden, fresh eggs, etc.). We had complete privacy, yet help was nearby if ever needed. The cottage is light-filled and has amenities that make it feel like a familiar home. We would happily stay at Anna's again - it's a wonderful place to slow down and take in the surroundings.
We had a great stay at Anna's place. very quiet and private, and only a short drive from the beach, restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended for a short getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay at Anna's place. It has amazing views which we enjoyed during our morning tea and coffee as well during sunset. Super quiet at night and with a lot of tips what we can do during our stay. We had the nice walk to the 7 mile beach. A lot of mozzies but it was worth it. Anna was super helpful and made us feel like we are home. Amazing garden with veggies and fruits. We defntetly would stay again. All the best to Anna and her family. A lovely peaceful place to stay… sadly we were hit with 36 hours of very heavy rain which put a damper on things. However the last morning we were able to swim in the ocean pool. Anna was a lovely host and loved the setting although we don’t think we saw it in all its glory! Thank you Anna!

Cape Hawke valley is Forster’s hidden gem, a rural residential pocket flanked by Booti National Park to the north and south, with Dunns creek winding its way through. A peaceful place surrounded by nature.
3km to Forster Keys shops and under 10 minutes to Stockland, Burgess Beach, One Mile beaches, a few more minutes to Forster Main Beach and village. The track to McBrides Beach is only 2 minutes drive or 10 minute uphill walk from home. Further up the hill is the track to Cape Hawke tower lookout.
Pacific Palms beaches are 15 minutes away.
You can walk to Janie’s corner, Seven Mile Beach from the back gate via a fire trail, in under 30 minutes each way
