Joeleen's place is just as beautiful in real life as in the pictures and very comfortable, but we did not have a pleasant stay due to poor and lazy management. Generally, we overlook a few minor issues. But here, we experienced issue after issue with no response from the management, which added to our frustration and dissatisfaction. The washing machine is faulty, even though multiple previous guests had already complained judging by previous reviews. The en-suite toilet seat is loose, and when flushing, the plumbing makes a disturbingly loud noise. The main bedroom door does not latch, so the door is never fully closed, and the balcony door does not lock. The main bedroom curtain was coming off the rails and was repaired by us. Some of the dishes were not washed properly. Although the listing states that shower gel and soap are provided, we found none. The plus side is that it is wheelchair friendly with backup power for the elevators, and it is quite close to gateway and major roads.

When we arrived at the place in Umhlanga, there was a hiccup. The accommodation wasn't ready, and we found ourselves waiting for over an hour outside. However, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They swiftly addressed issues from the previous guests, sending someone promptly to fix them. Despite their efforts, there were some disappointing aspects. A lingering stench on the couch and a problematic washing machine were evident. Although they attempted to rectify these problems, the washing machine continued to malfunction throughout our stay. Overall, the place wasn't bad, and the service levels were commendable. Nevertheless, the initial delay and the persisting issues with cleanliness and appliances left us somewhat underwhelmed. While the staff's efforts were appreciated, these hiccups affected our overall satisfaction during our stay.

I had a wonderful stay, the place was just as beautiful as it looked on the pictures, and the host’s communication was fantastic and quick to assist. The check- in process was a breeze. The apartment is close to Oceans and Gateway mall. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfortable place.
